Roy was supposed to win stock buggy. Too bad he ran that crazy looking losi instead of his B4.1.

Thanks Roy for the tires though. You were a life saver. I do have to say. Roy can be a pain. He voices his opinion and sometimes he comes off sounding rough, but he really is a great guy. If you need something he is always there to help out in anyway he can. As are all the people at PG!!

He wants me to order a new Fantom motor for him on Monday. I wanted to email or call him before I do, I have a quick question for him. You can pass my cell number on to him if you want to.

Man its easy to take PG for granted. When you always run in such a nice facility you tend to forget what its like at other tracks. Thanks again to E and everyone for providing such a great place to run. Any word on the clay? LOL

Amazing as it is, there were people at Proving Grounds this weekend that had never been here before. We had people from all over Michigan, and a few from Indiana, and Ohio in attendance for this race. With all these people from various different tracks there was one comment I heard more than any other. "Damn you guys at Proving Grounds are lucky. This is hands down the best racing facility in this region".

Not sure about you guys, but that means a lot to me when I hear it. Uncle E has poured more effort (and money) into PG than pretty much any track owner I know. And I know he loves it when people praise what he has created and tell him how much they like it. So what does he do when he already has a great facility? He goes out of his way to make it even better. He plans to upgrade to a clay indoor track to improve upon this already pimped out facility.

We all need to thank Uncle E for everything he has done, and continues to do for us. We are all truely blessed with one of the best track owners in the country.

yes i agree 100%!!! But guys there is something we can all do to help make it a better Place and it is a easy tasks, just please pick up around your pitt area that all if everyone did that it would save E and everyone else from doing it and it will just make it a better place to race if we all just pitch in and clean are areas up:thumbsup:

one idea on the keeping the pit areas clean (and im not sure how well this would work in actuality) would be to keep a broom or two handy.

I try to make sure that my area is picked up when I am done but there are times I just wish I had a broom handy to quickly go over the area around me.

Good idea Adam!
I think also it's time to open that big garage door, and use the blower to push some of that dirt out from the pits... lol

A broom will probably just work fine :)

Great event hosted by PG again this past weekend! We are in fact blessed to be part of this great journey E is taking MI Racing in... Can't wait for outdoors :)

I'm still relatively new to RC but I've spent a lot of time at Proving Grounds and traveled to other tracks when I get the chance, it really makes you appreciate what a top-tier facility we have. I know I'm proud to say Proving Grounds is my home track.

Lets all pester Roy this week, just keep asking him tons of stupid senseless questions until he has a psychotic episode. That will give us the drama we need. Then we can use the new brooms to beat Roy to death! Damn, now that would be a week.......

Yes, just not sure how quickly. I have been waiting for a few weeks for the web site to get some software updates/upgrades done to it. Once that is done I will be putting ALL missing race results up on it. Im just a bit gun shy when it comes to putting stuff up and not being 100% sure it wont get lost after an update to the system. I will check in with the IT guy to see how the updates are going.

I burnt up my 13.5 at the east vs. west shootout any recomendations for mod motors? I prefer something over 7.5 just so i don't go through tires too fast.

Okay let me be the first to say (well maybe not first) that kyosho is just....well...Japanese. Having put the blitz together more times than I can count going over this Ultima is weird. Heck even the shocks fill backwards. I know I post a lot. Sorry if that is annoying but well my wife doesn't want to hear about it so you have to.

Lots of good motors out there. Fantom, Orion, and LRP make awesome motors. A 10.5 - 8.5 are perfect for almost any track, indoor or out.
