The Losi 4x4 is getting closer and I am getting more and more anxious. I really never thought I would be so excited to own a Losi. But now i was just looking at the Losi sprint car to run on the new Dirt Oval at Proving Grounds. Huh?!?! WHAT!?!

not all of us. also got my eye on a losi 810. all the parts will be the same between losi 4wd and 810. just a thought at this point tho. :rolleyes:

Okay well you cant build an oval because we cant make it smooth enough.....oh wait, we have that massive drag that makes dirt baby butt smooth. Umm, you cant build an oval because....because....well crap go ahead and build your stupid oval. But no one is going to want to run on a high banked 90 foot x 60 foot oval.

Yes we are planning on having a electric 1/8 scale class this Saturday.

Great Method of Madness race. Great job to my son on a tq in stock short course and the win, qualified second for mod sc, and finished second to Caleb Van Dam. Great job Caleb as well. I believe Caleb finished top two in all three of the classes he ran today. Great job Caleb.

A special thanks to Larry at Twisted R/C for all his support and help, it makes it a lot easier to go faster with his help.

Great program all around, cant wait for this new track layout, it should be sick.

I had a great time racing yesterday and really enjoyed the layout. The show was ran very well too.

I did forget to ask while I was there what tires should work for Saturday since it will be new layout. Every time I have been there to race the layout has been raced on for awhile so I don't have any experience of what tires work best for a fresh layout.

I would appreciate if a few people could give me their suggestions for what tires should work for the fresh layout for both Short Course and Stadium Truck (both tire and compound)?

I have just spoke with Uncle E and Wednesday night we will have a FREE RACE NIGHT.

Its going to be a normal race program just without the cost to racers.
We will have a brand new track layout for everyone to try and would like to get the track broke in as much as possible for a full day of racing on Saturday.

Now this also means there will be NO pictures posted before Wednesday night.
We did work on the track today but there is alot to do yet.

It's a mixed bag with a fresh layout. Soft small pin tires. So guys will run full pin step pins, goose bump, flip outs. Do not buy tires if you have some of these style.

Bragging rights is Saturday 10am $25/10 and includes PM program. Last snowball derby race will be normal club race fees.

holeshots will prob load up on a fresh layout. you can always try them! bowfighter or snipers should work well. ill be using stock losi tires that come with the sc trucks. but it wont take long for the track to groove up and the holeshots will work well.
