hogmansp 01-14-2011, 01:49 PM Would that be 1/10th scale 4wd buggies?
Mike Slaughter
Yes 1/10th scale. We have 3 that would come so need to find 3 more. I have an extra Durango that I will see if someone wants to wheel it for the day. What seems to be the common tire of choice among all the classes? Smooth or bumpy low or high bite surface?
Zr440#54 01-14-2011, 01:52 PM Ill be there on the 29th with my 4wd buggy!

hogmansp 01-14-2011, 04:08 PM Have you guy's gathered up enough for a 1/10th truggy class yet?
hyperdesigns 01-14-2011, 04:17 PM Have you guy's gathered up enough for a 1/10th truggy class yet?
as soon as my buggy sells ill have one. most guys are waiting to try one first. mostly guys that already drive 4wdsc. we are just needing another 4wd class:thumbsup: 1/10 buggy prone for breakage from what i hear. so its been a toss between 2s 1/8 or 1/10 truggy. i already have the 2s 1/8 and it drives nice so ill have one soon, i want to try the castle sct combo with a 3800kv 4 pole. dirt cheap combo and rated for trucks up to 6.5 lbs. truggy is no where near that!!!
hogmansp 01-14-2011, 05:41 PM Well on the 29th we will bring a 1/10th truggy and some 4wd buggies. Haven't run the truggy yet but will be setup with a 5.5 tekin sc motor and a rx8 on 2s. Maybe we can try and get a few guy's to commit for the 29th for 4wd buggy so we would have a nice turnout. We NEED to keep the class alive. We have been running the Cat sx2's and Durango's and they hold up very well.

Great sc race george it was fun.You had me beat. You ran a very clean race.
hyperdesigns 01-16-2011, 11:40 AM great night racing last night. tazz thanks for plowing the way in 4wdsc. 4wdsc seems to be taking off. think there was 8 last night even with a light turn out.. 1/8 scale was fun about a second of pace with the 2s 8e. but thats compared to waters and tazz. think manly i think it was just driver. going to tare it down this week and freshin up the fuilds set it up for me.
on a side note dont want to sit on the buggy(FT B4.1) anymore. $150 takes it no motor, servo or esc
hyperdesigns 01-16-2011, 01:21 PM b4 sold!!! going to order my tt!!!!!!!!
ezracer18 01-16-2011, 01:28 PM Tazz, I hear you. believe it or not, we got too much traction. we broke a drive pin in the cvd. sheared it right off. I could not believe it. hell yeah it was a great race, I loved watching you guys race like that, and it was clean... after last night, he understands a lot better what I mean when I talk about clean racing. he is realizing when he gets behind, he can and will catch up and make a race out of it.
see you wednesday if your there, who knows maybe we will have a 4x4 to race against you by then...
the G&G show.

I've been looking, but I can't seem to find the rules for the trophy race Saturday. Just wondering if there will be a stock class. And if so, is it spec or open speedo? Just wanna make sure I'm ready.

Plenty of fun stuff up our sleeves. Many "different" non performance based trophies. Should be one of the most fun times ever. Racing will be intense and close.

thats awesome!!!!!!! they might let us run a class with 4 of them since it will be the first time at the track with these truggies. maybe even throw in some mod stadiums if they want. you still need a 4wd buggy driver?
