In case you havent seen it yet, the outdoor track has been worked on this week. New jumps, tabletops, etc. etc. for this week Wednesday. Go big or go home baby.

Okay, this is for our track building team, I found a few features I want added to our outdoor track. Just watch the first minute of this video and you will see what I mean.....

Gotta love some of those tracks on the JBRL Nitro Series. That brings back some good memories!!! The first track on that video is Thunder Alley, and I was at that round of JBRL last year. Those jumps were awesome for sure. Levi Jackson does an amazing job at putting together a fun layout. At the end of the round, Cavalieri and King were doing back flips off that huge step up in the back.

By the time Uncle E gets done with our outdoor track, we wont be far off from that. Got some big ole' features going in right now and more to come.

Anyone plan on racing 2wd buggy tomorrow?

Uncle E
06-21-2011, 06:13 PM
Hell yes on buggy, Caleb too. Boat will since we are;-) Revo is already chubbed over it. 2wd for sure.

I would have taken and shared photos of outdoor layout, but it's too big! Couldn't photograph it with my phone. Only 1/2 way through the dirt. Should get really stupid.

Might be indoor tomorrow, I'm thinking ghosts and slicks

I don't know which one you are talking about, but let me know.
I am looking at changing mine pretty soon to be able to charge Sam's and my packs at the same time when we're both racing... Was thinking about the Hitec X4. Pretty cheap for 4 packs charging...

On another note, I should be able to order my 8th scale when we come back from France :) Can't wait to get back to that :)

Andy,
Did you ever manage to save that 4s batt I gave you to have a look at a few weeks ago? Can I ask for your help on splitting a 4s Zippy pack into a split 2x2s for my future 8th scale?

Looks pretty sweet :)

wth E, I thought you said a week or two ago that that the 4-1 battery chargers were over rated, and why buy one when you have so many single chargers??? I think you see the ease of having just one charger... bout time.

Nope no wisdom in replacing 4 with 1. Rather adding an additional 4 with 1. ;-)

Get it straight S.A.

Whats the expected turnout for the Friday night race? I know theres the Bill Bridges thing Saturday, so that's why I am asking.
I would be in 2wd SC stock.

Northern Light series?
The flyer on the site says June 24th. Is it changed?

We moved that date so it would not conflict with the Bill Bridges benefit race. There is a flier on that same page for the Northern Lights Series.

June 17, July 29, August 19, September 30

The guys from Dirt Burners were nice enough to contact us direct and say they wanted to host the Bill Bridges race on the same weekend we had the Northern Lights Race #1 planned for, so we moved the date that same day to accommodate for Bills race. Those new dates have been posted since May.

Is the outdoor track under water? Just contemplating some Friday night practice and wondering if outdoors is in the cards (without using pontoons...).

They just approved the 550 can, doubt they will allow the 4 pole anytime soon. I'm just saying. I wonder if the MORL will allow 4 pole castles??
