Work night at the track tonight at from 5 til ? Bring an extra shovel if you have one. Also could use an extra wheelbarrow. I have one, but more would be good. Sounds like we have as many as half a dozen showing up to help with the rebuild.

Its ok Cooter, I didnt make it out either. Like Tevil said, small 2wd trucks & snow dont get along too good. On the brighter side, my losi will be track ready this week. Getting the mamba pro 4 pole system. I hope to be out sunday but its also moms bday. See you soon. :wave:

I like my 22 , tough buggy. As set-ups TLRACING.COM Has set-up sheets. Also go to the thread on RC TECH. Only problem with mine is the driver. I don't think you can go wrong with either one. My 2cents

How did the track rebuild turn out?

Had a half dozen guys out and it went fast and easy. Been packing and tamping jumps and cow pies all night tonight. Will get tubes down tomorrow night and the track will be ready for practice on Thursday.

Will try to get some pics up tomorrow night once the tubes are in place.

Sorry I couldn't get out to help John, I am working on possible few more tables for the pit areas. My relative had a bunch and looking to see if they will part with some.:thumbsup:

The losi and the Associated both have their plus and minuses.....Generally speaking, Losi's have always been designed with an inherent push and designed to handle rougher tracks (outdoors)....where Associated's are more nimble and "twitchy" feeling...good for smooth tracks and indoor.

That being said....if you are familiar with associated vehicle's (sc or 4x4 sc or t4) then the B4.1 will feel right at home to you. Conversely, if you've had experience with Losi vehicles, the 22 will be a natural fit for you.

But as someone else said...you can't really go wrong with either platform (even tho you always have those team losi vs team associated diehards).....they both perform well and can win on any given race day.

Forgot to mention...as far as ease of setting them up.....both manufacturers have great support and plenty of set-ups on their web-sites....and as always...the specific cars thread on rctech.net is a great source of info as well.

Plus, ask at the track...Dana will have his B4.1 out there, and apple....those guys will let you wheel it to try it out..and I'm sure Larry ( RAFIKI) would let you drive his if asked nicly....and, ya never know until you drive it.....the Team C car REALLY is planted and fun / easy to drive...I know Charlie would let ya wheel that for a few laps without question.

There will be another 4wd Losi on the track tonight for some practice. Its all set. Went with the mamba pro 1410 3800kv 4 pole combo. Cant wait to try it out.

u know the worst i ever broke on my b4 was shock towers and that was flipping it on its lid on 1/8th scale jumps :D

anyone looking for an x-6 squared ( a mid motor b4) let me know i have a friend selling his complete just ad receiver and it has a 6.5 in it

New layout is very nice and was really getting a good grove towards the end of the night. On my buggy I had good luck with panther bobcat fr and gigabite ss rears and jconcept goosebumps all the way around on stock sc. :thumbsup:

I ran it very little before but am really craving 13.5 truck now. Buggy will do though. Sticking with a 17.5 in the buggy for fun.

i have 2 13.5 trucks my wifes and mine, in the summer that class is very alive

I may have to get one around for this summer.

i would i heard a 3 more people were running it new this year for summer , IMO its a much better class then sc as if you screw up ur broke not rubbing is racing. I like the skill it takes and how fast it really is.

Holy crap the new layout was fun today! 2 separate doubles, a triple, corner Berms and I liked the nintendo excite-a-bike step up table top. I really missed having a double or more in the last layout, this one delivers.

I'm still amazed with the big "2 day" race in town we still had 16 buggies racing today. Great buggy track. :thumbsup:

I use a Mamba system, 3800kv in mine with 40c. (I am the Green A-main running Sc10 4x4). If you keep the 48 pitch gears, run a 22 or 23 tooth pinion. Mamba systems are not as explosive as Tekins, but like Gman said, just as fast.

I did my first sc 4x4 race yesterday (red and white truck with yellow roll cage) and it was awesome. That was the most fun I have had doing RC in along time! I just wish I didn't have to leave early.

I wanted to say thank you to Speed 90. I ran the mamba system with a 23 pinion. It was FAST. Clearing the triple was the easiest part of the track for me. Next time I should have the right tires and the sky is the limit.:cool:
