bennyboy 07-04-2010, 09:46 AM Just to let everyone know oak hill has a seperate electric and nitro track. The electric track is in excelent condition for some great racing. We ran 10 (and room for more)yesterday and it was great racing all day long. The nitro track is also in good condition. One thing nice about haveing 2 tracks is if there is a technical diffaculty on one we move to the other as was yesterday. The issue will be fixed for the 10th. This coming weekend we would like to invite those whom havent been there this year and those that havent made the trip on the hill at all.
Oh yeah, I see a great turn out on the 10th.
Tim
bennyboy 07-04-2010, 09:48 AM Brandon M, I see you lurking. Bring those vehicles to Oakhill next week. I think you will definetly love the electric track.

The pics of the electric track do look awesome, but for me its time to take a break. maybe in a few weeks
trashedmaxx 07-04-2010, 10:32 AM Doug, I just calculated it out and if I post every 30 seconds, for 33 hours straight, I should getch up.
How did Caster Racing do yesterday?
Tim
Your only allowed to post every 60 seconds so it would actually take 66 hours straight to catch up. But think, he is still posting at a constant rate. To bad he doesn't race as much as he posts.
trashedmaxx 07-04-2010, 10:40 AM The pics of the electric track do look awesome, but for me its time to take a break. maybe in a few weeks
We all need a break from time to time to keep it fun. Sometimes its starts to become a job more than a hobby. Don't give up on us Brandon some of my most memorable racing moments were running against you.
jgullo53 07-04-2010, 12:14 PM another great day of racing!!! hope i can get another saturday off soon so i can be down again!!!
drbob93 07-04-2010, 12:48 PM Bob Hosler nice job TQ with your Caster (out of 9 racers) yesterday in the 1/8 scale with Rick D. (one for the old guys) in second qualifying.
Too bad you were too close to the loop on the start and scoring did not pick up your first lap. You were looking good.
Tim
Am I anywhere close to Dan Neer's(Pink Sleeve) total posts? I have to be getting close.
I figure by triple posting I will getch up.
Tim
thanks tim really appreciated that, and ben congrats on winnin both classes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! you must have a big sticker collection:thumbsup:
bennyboy 07-04-2010, 12:52 PM Next weeks racing, on the 10th at OakHill, Moisio Racing will re-imburse entry fees (12.00 each) for all Top Qualifiers in 1/8 electric buggy,1/8 scale nitro buggy, 2WD buggy, and Mod Corr.
Also, I have a pair of Hot Bodies "FULL SLOT" tires, in pink compund, for the TQ in 4WD class, if there is one.
Hey, 4WD RACER, should I put your name on the FullSlots? :dude:
Best groom that electric track OakHill Boys, build it they will come.

If Neer raced as you said, you boys(Nam, Barret, Marsh), would definitely have your work cut out for you.
I look at you three and Neer as a bench mark.

4WD Racer 07-04-2010, 02:01 PM Thanks Bennyboy, I would love to try the Full Slots you mentioned for the 4wd, that would be awesome. I will be there next weekend (on the 10th too!) -David
Yes, everyone, thanks for getting the bags sold, I appreciate that very much. Now I have room for a tent in the car in the empty spot where it used to be, more stuff to haul, ha ha. j/k
Oakhill is a great place, it's great to see everyone working together to run the program smoothly and having a good time. Good atmosphere there.
All right, everyone, let's see some 2wd, & 4wd action on the 10th for a great day of racing and fun at Oakhills. ;)
4WD Racer 07-04-2010, 02:07 PM Roll call, as usual, we know the locals and regulars don't really post on this, but helps to generate interest from those looking on the board AND THINKING, ha ha, about coming over to Oakhills for a great day of racing, and family oriented fun.
So let's see those names, even if you are just remotely thinking about 2wd's, please bring them!!! I know they are out there. :)

I don't think you will be able to catch up to my post count anytime soon

bennyboy 07-04-2010, 06:52 PM What about the one they call.........SHAY. If i remember correctly his first name is Bill. People at Medina know who he is
Wasn't SHAY under the tutelage of Pink Sleeve? Wow... the master vs the student. What do you say weed hopper?
How come I have posted like 12 times in the past 4 pages and my post count only goes up by two?
Wow almost forgot to sign my name. Tim
(Ben is not at home.)
bennyboy 07-04-2010, 07:10 PM Dan sounds like benny and the boys are ready for ya.Thanks to everyone lets steel the show next weekend on the hill.[/QUOTE]
We are not afraid of Neer, we just don't run the classes Dan runs:cool:
Dan, bring Jasmyne, she will have fun. Ben and same still want me to run against her. I keep telling the boys I am not feeling well when she is around and that I can't race, they are so gullable at there age.
Tim
bennyboy 07-04-2010, 07:38 PM Not really a fan of roll call. The great racers just keep quiet and show up and lay it down on the track. Like............................
Doug Lightcap aka "badassrevo". Now those names just sing as a race car drivers name. Oh yeah.
Tim
Where are the moderators at? Where are they when you need them? Pink Sleeve just pm'd me a said I was bald. I think his posting should be shut down for like 3 months:beatdeadhorse:
bennyboy 07-04-2010, 07:54 PM Fred/Brenda
Hope to see you guys on the 10th at OakHill. Cookies?
How is "Outdrive" doing? I heard he flew the coupe.
Tim
I was trying to do a whole page of just me posting, but I got to go back to the picnic
That's right Neer, you best be looking over your shoulder
badassrevo 07-04-2010, 08:52 PM Thanks for the invite Tim, but I have a prior commitment to the Ohio Electric Off-Road Summer Series on the 10th.

Stock and Mod CORR for this summer
bennyboy 07-05-2010, 11:33 AM You need parts? Kevin, who races at OakHill, can deliver to the track on Saturday.
pm screen name kmberie on page 15 post #214. Let him know what you need and he can bring to track on Saturday.
For those who are new,Just a little observation from past Saturday's, Kevin races with Team WTF, a great bunch of racers who are a half a bubble off. When they are not racing, one is even running for Congressman of the State of PA, and the others just do a whole lot of laughing and jesting. Vist there camp site just South of the electric track. Look for the BMW's, Audis and Cadillacs. I know I have visited there "Tent City" and have come away shacking my head.

Tim
We are planning to be there. I can't answer for the cookie status.
Outdrive is doing good. You must have misunderstood, not "flew the coop" but "threw the poop". She can be a little demanding. There is the new larger palace, which needed more toys and other equipment. The custom cover, hand made perch collection, several different seed blends........
bennyboy 07-05-2010, 12:10 PM Thanks for the invite Tim, but I have a prior commitment to the Ohio Electric Off-Road Summer Series on the 10th.
Doug, Good luck at the Series race.
Don't remember, if it is just 1/10 or both 1/10 and 1/8 at the series, but being a pioneer of the 1/8 e-scale in the area, 3-4 years ago, you have to be very pleased with how 1/8 e-scale has exploded on the R/C scene.
Tim
theycallmeSDZ 07-05-2010, 12:11 PM I hope I can switch things around.
I really want to be there.
Did everyone get a chance to see the pics?

thanks Tim. It is just 1/10th electric. I am very pleased, it went from just me to 30 cars at any given track.

I just finished looking at them this am. Pics were great! Thanks again, Sean.
Tim
theycallmeSDZ 07-05-2010, 01:38 PM No problem.
I will take more this coming weekend if I can make.
I didnt have the bigger memory card with me this time.
I could only take 135 pics.
I got over 500 in medina a week ago during "tiregate"

LOL We'll have to settle for VWs, Fords and Dodges....
But Tent City/WTF Racing is upping the ante:
OK on behalf of Tent City/WTF Racing I am putting up to the TQ for Mod Corr, Stock Truck, and 4wd Buggy the following:
Mod 2WD CORR - Set of Pink Hot Bodies Megagrids SC Tires (if I can get them if not it will be the TQs choice of Proline M3 or M4 SC Calibers)
Stock(13.5) 2wd Truck - Set of Proline M3 Caliber Rear Truck Tires or Red Losi IFMAR Pin Rear Truck Tires or Red Losi IFMAR Stud Rear Truck Tires (TQs Choice)
Open 4WD Buggy - Set of front and rear Proline M3 Calibers
So boys lets dust of your stuff and let go racing!
So visit Tent City and maybe Court Drizz will bust a move for you!

Definitely the place to be this weekend, OAKHILL.
Tim
theycallmeSDZ 07-05-2010, 07:22 PM Rumble on the Hill huh?
Maybe I will make up a bunch of stickers for people.
Here is the SDZdecals.com contribution
The first 50 people to signup for the races this saturday for the unofficial "Rumble on The Hill" will receive a red decal for their cars/toolboxes/whatever.
Only the first 50 people.
Also, SDZdecals will have alot of stickers available trackside.
I am going to bring my vinyl cutter with me, so if you anything done at the track, let me know.
theycallmeSDZ 07-05-2010, 08:37 PM I'll make sure to bring the cardboard for the dizzle's popp'n N lock'n mega spectacular:dude:
I have to know what this is!
theycallmeSDZ 07-05-2010, 08:42 PM I want to make some stickers for the classes
the website doesnt really break down all the classes
Could someone help me out with a list of all the official names for the classes they run at oakhill?
If Teddy or one of the head honchos at Oakhill wants to make the "Rumble on the hill" name official, I will get started on cutting out the stickers for that as well.
