I may be up this weekend. it all depends on weather on if i can get out of the house, as the parade here in warren goes right past my house.

Any info on 4x4 SCT (MOD) class... it appears that it's only "box stock" and wanted to know before I get a sitter and make the trip there.

I am not stock....
well i have rpm arms and bumpers, bead lock rims, jconcept goosebumps.

I would hate to drive all the way there and not be able to run.

Last I heard on their forum, was that mainly running "Box Stock", so basically the way it came in the box from factory or store. I think that you were allowed the upgrades of the Platinum or Ultimate and that was it.

I haven't heard of anyone running 4x4 Mod Corr yet up there, that why I asked, cause I have different springs, motor, esc, tires... etc.

Good to hear there's a few running 4x4 MOD, especailly from seeing the track pics, it looks pretty sweet. I like the cross over jump in the pics I saw... nice

I'm in Bula, but was planning on racing next week, since it's the wifes birthday this weekend and with 4th July festivities as well. Have to make sure the family is happy first before I can race.

Like I said before, you will race if you show up. If there is 3 you will race. Most likely with stockers. Don't worry you will have a ball

Agreed, I race at Oak Hill "EVERY" weekend and I can honestly say that most of the regulars don't do the role call thing, they just show up and race.....

There have been 7-10 4x4 corr trucks each week and many are itching to wander in to the "MOD" arena with them by changing tires etc, so show up you won't be disappointed.

MOD 2wd corr is popular as well, there at least 6 regulars and have been as many as 10 each week. This is one of the most competitive classes there and is loaded with great drivers, so if it is competition you want you will certainly find it here....

2wd Stock(13.5) truck have similar numbers...

True, about the forum roll call list, however it DOES help to generate new interest and some others from time to time. There are a lot of regulars that attend on a weekly basis that don't post here from what I see though.

About the 4wd's, there were actually a B44 and a Losi xxx-4 on the track last week. (not pair of B44's), so some brand competition going on, and more to come hopefully.

Need 2wd's to show up too...It's all in good to see. :thumbsup:

As you all have read there are a few stock 4x4 corrs looking to try some mod but nobody has broken the waters yet? there is 1 coming out to try and we have 2 here that are willing to run it. lets see if we can get a few more. When is the best time to show up out there?

The track will be open for practice at 830 am and racing starts at around 1030 or so

not to worry, racing starts 11:30 am ish, so plently of time beforehand to arrive.

How long does your typical race day last... I know it depends on how many show-up, but want to get an idea just in case I might be able to make it.

As you said of cource its a turnout thing but usually around 3:00 to 4:00. if it becomes a time thing we could run your main first?:thumbsup: 4wd weve changed the starting time begining the first of the year to 10:30am but sometimes it a bit later?

Hey again everyone, I visited there last week, yeah, I saw they (Chris, & Chuck) started the program later last week to 11:30 am to allow extra time. They finished 4:30 pm or so as you said. I think they started late and finished early depending on turnout of the day.

Maybe if there was high number of entries or classes overall, they would've started at 10:30, etc.

More then likely won't be able to make it this weekend, with plans and all and getting some new ink today.

I'll definately try working on getting out there next week though. The track pics look sweet and I'm trying to make my round to different tracks as time/money allow.

Do the 4x4 Corr trucks race on the Elec or Nitro track as well.... either way can't wait to hit the track.

Electric track is supper smoooooth with a Oakhill signature crossover. 2WD, 4WD, truck, and corr racers need to check this track out. You will not be disappointed.

Thanks again for the 1/8 scale tires Eric,:thumbsup: crowbars were definitely hooked up for Ben in the main. Great bunch of guys at this track, always willing to help and give.

Just for those who are familiar with the incident at Medina last week. Teddy Johnson's Mugen stayed on the track, but just incase we had a repeat of the last week's incident, I installed a 4 foot high block barrier around our pit.:cool:

Bob Hosler nice job TQ with your Caster (out of 9 racers) yesterday in the 1/8 scale with Rick D. (one for the old guys) in second qualifying.
Too bad you were too close to the loop on the start and scoring did not pick up your first lap. You were looking good.:thumbsup:

I made the A. but had a bad first lap and was a lap down before lap 2. I did not finish last though. 2wd was off the hook. 3 heats and 1 through 12 ran 12 laps only seperated by 100th of a second. I got second in the B.

Just to let everyone know oak hill has a seperate electric and nitro track. The electric track is in excelent condition for some great racing. We ran 10 (and room for more)yesterday and it was great racing all day long. The nitro track is also in good condition. One thing nice about haveing 2 tracks is if there is a technical diffaculty on one we move to the other as was yesterday. The issue will be fixed for the 10th. This coming weekend we would like to invite those whom havent been there this year and those that havent made the trip on the hill at all. :wave:
