I am not stock.... well i have rpm arms and bumpers, bead lock rims, jconcept goosebumps. I would hate to drive all the way there and not be able to run. snwchris 06-30-2010, 11:26 AM Last I heard on their forum, was that mainly running "Box Stock", so basically the way it came in the box from factory or store. I think that you were allowed the upgrades of the Platinum or Ultimate and that was it. I haven't heard of anyone running 4x4 Mod Corr yet up there, that why I asked, cause I have different springs, motor, esc, tires... etc. Chris theycallmeSDZ 06-30-2010, 11:36 AM We could both be in trouble here. Could some one please let us know if our trucks are going to be allowed to race at oak hill Teddy Johnson 06-30-2010, 02:01 PM I'm working on that right now as we speak about the mod 4x4 class I will let you know as soon as possible theycallmeSDZ 06-30-2010, 02:14 PM Thanks alot Teddy Teddy Johnson 06-30-2010, 02:27 PM We just got done talking with you guys And there will be 2 more guys racing mod corr 4x4 on saturday . so there will b a class 4 mod 4x4 corr:thumbsup: theycallmeSDZ 06-30-2010, 02:30 PM SWEET!!!!!!!!! Chris.....are you coming? where are you in NE Ohio? snwchris 06-30-2010, 02:51 PM Good to hear there's a few running 4x4 MOD, especailly from seeing the track pics, it looks pretty sweet. I like the cross over jump in the pics I saw... nice I'm in Bula, but was planning on racing next week, since it's the wifes birthday this weekend and with 4th July festivities as well. Have to make sure the family is happy first before I can race. Chris theycallmeSDZ 06-30-2010, 03:13 PM oh....so i guess thats only 3 mod 4x4 then. damn! Teddy Johnson 06-30-2010, 04:50 PM Like I said before, you will race if you show up. If there is 3 you will race. Most likely with stockers. Don't worry you will have a ball badassrevo 06-30-2010, 05:23 PM You can not go by the fourm sign up list. I have been there before when there was 10 on the list and actually there were 100 sign up's. kmberie 06-30-2010, 08:48 PM You can not go by the fourm sign up list. I have been there before when there was 10 on the list and actually there were 100 sign up's. Agreed, I race at Oak Hill "EVERY" weekend and I can honestly say that most of the regulars don't do the role call thing, they just show up and race..... There have been 7-10 4x4 corr trucks each week and many are itching to wander in to the "MOD" arena with them by changing tires etc, so show up you won't be disappointed. MOD 2wd corr is popular as well, there at least 6 regulars and have been as many as 10 each week. This is one of the most competitive classes there and is loaded with great drivers, so if it is competition you want you will certainly find it here.... 2wd Stock(13.5) truck have similar numbers... Last week people had b44's out too. Great racing, great food, great people, how can you go wrong.... bennyboy 06-30-2010, 09:07 PM Agreed, I race at Oak Hill "EVERY" weekend and I can honestly say that most of the regulars don't do the role call thing, they just show up and race..... Absolutely +1  4WD Racer 06-30-2010, 10:34 PM True, about the forum roll call list, however it DOES help to generate new interest and some others from time to time. There are a lot of regulars that attend on a weekly basis that don't post here from what I see though. About the 4wd's, there were actually a B44 and a Losi xxx-4 on the track last week. (not pair of B44's), so some brand competition going on, and more to come hopefully. Need 2wd's to show up too...It's all in good to see. theycallmeSDZ 07-01-2010, 08:29 AM Well I will be there for sure then. Just a word of caution. I am not that good. LOL bennyboy 07-01-2010, 04:11 PM Well I will be there for sure then. Just a word of caution. I am not that good. LOL No caution needed, Great bunch of people. Oakhill is where ny son started 3 years ago. Everyone is welcome and Great food! Tim XXXT4me 07-01-2010, 05:13 PM No caution needed, Great bunch of people. Oakhill is where ny son started 3 years ago. Everyone is welcome and Great food! Tim Always had a good time at Oakhill. Be there in one more week  Teddy Johnson 07-01-2010, 05:55 PM That sounds good fred, You bringing the boss? Hopefully others will follow. The new track is awsome. As you all have read there are a few stock 4x4 corrs looking to try some mod but nobody has broken the waters yet? there is 1 coming out to try and we have 2 here that are willing to run it. lets see if we can get a few more. Hope to see some new faces for this weeks racing. theycallmeSDZ 07-01-2010, 07:03 PM I am looking forward to it. When is the best time to show up out there? Teddy Johnson 07-01-2010, 07:16 PM The track will be open for practice at 830 am and racing starts at around 1030 or so 4WD Racer 07-01-2010, 08:57 PM not to worry, racing starts 11:30 am ish, so plently of time beforehand to arrive. snwchris 07-01-2010, 09:07 PM How long does your typical race day last... I know it depends on how many show-up, but want to get an idea just in case I might be able to make it. Teddy Johnson 07-01-2010, 09:40 PM As you said of cource its a turnout thing but usually around 3:00 to 4:00. if it becomes a time thing we could run your main first? 4wd weve changed the starting time begining the first of the year to 10:30am but sometimes it a bit later? 4WD Racer 07-01-2010, 10:10 PM Hey again everyone, I visited there last week, yeah, I saw they (Chris, & Chuck) started the program later last week to 11:30 am to allow extra time. They finished 4:30 pm or so as you said. I think they started late and finished early depending on turnout of the day. Maybe if there was high number of entries or classes overall, they would've started at 10:30, etc. Teddy Johnson 07-01-2010, 11:24 PM OK I see what ya ment we will see XXXT4me 07-02-2010, 04:03 AM That sounds good fred, You bringing the boss? Hopefully others will follow. . The Boss brings me! :) Teddy Johnson 07-02-2010, 09:30 AM Sounds good see ya next week snwchris 07-02-2010, 10:04 AM More then likely won't be able to make it this weekend, with plans and all and getting some new ink today. I'll definately try working on getting out there next week though. The track pics look sweet and I'm trying to make my round to different tracks as time/money allow. Do the 4x4 Corr trucks race on the Elec or Nitro track as well.... either way can't wait to hit the track. Chris theycallmeSDZ 07-02-2010, 10:25 AM ok cool. So....racing starts around 1030. I will get there around 930 then. I will leave my house at 730. Then off to waldameer!!!! Teddy Johnson 07-02-2010, 11:03 AM All the corr trucks will race on the electric track. looks like next weekend is shaping to be a real good weekend also. see you guys tomorrow. theycallmeSDZ 07-02-2010, 02:21 PM I am all ready to go. Stuff is sitting in the dining room waiting for the morning. 4WD Racer 07-02-2010, 08:49 PM If anyone is interested in one or two 1/8 scale sized Team Trinity Hauler bags (normally $159 each when new, but will sell far lower than that of course), let me know and I'll bring them up tomorrow. They are in like new and excellent condition. Just let me know, and I will make room in the car otherwise they just take up space on a trip ya know? lol. You will not be disappointed. Thanks again for the 1/8 scale tires Eric, crowbars were definitely hooked up for Ben in the main. Great bunch of guys at this track, always willing to help and give. Just for those who are familiar with the incident at Medina last week. Teddy Johnson's Mugen stayed on the track, but just incase we had a repeat of the last week's incident, I installed a 4 foot high block barrier around our pit. See everyone next Saturday Tim, Ben and Sam Teddy Johnson 07-03-2010, 09:59 PM I do have to agree that barrier work well. matter fact it kept me on track the whole race bennyboy 07-04-2010, 07:19 AM Ted, you have a pm Tim bennyboy 07-04-2010, 07:26 AM Kevin, You have a pm Tim bennyboy 07-04-2010, 07:47 AM Bob Hosler nice job TQ with your Caster (out of 9 racers) yesterday in the 1/8 scale with Rick D. (one for the old guys) in second qualifying. Too bad you were too close to the loop on the start and scoring did not pick up your first lap. You were looking good. Tim Am I anywhere close to Dan Neer's(Pink Sleeve) total posts? I have to be getting close. I figure by triple posting I will getch up. Tim badassrevo 07-04-2010, 08:29 AM Dan has 4162, so you have some work to do. theycallmeSDZ 07-04-2010, 08:47 AM Had a great time!!!!!!!! It was my first time racing at oak hill and it was awesome. Thanks for taking pictures Tim bennyboy 07-04-2010, 09:01 AM Dan has 4162, so you have some work to do. Doug, I just calculated it out and if I post every 30 seconds, for 33 hours straight, I should getch up. How did Caster Racing do yesterday? Tim theycallmeSDZ 07-04-2010, 09:01 AM no problem. i will get a link up on here asap. badassrevo 07-04-2010, 09:15 AM How did Caster Racing do yesterday? Tim I made the A. but had a bad first lap and was a lap down before lap 2. I did not finish last though. 2wd was off the hook. 3 heats and 1 through 12 ran 12 laps only seperated by 100th of a second. I got second in the B. Teddy Johnson 07-04-2010, 09:29 AM Just to let everyone know oak hill has a seperate electric and nitro track. The electric track is in excelent condition for some great racing. We ran 10 (and room for more)yesterday and it was great racing all day long. The nitro track is also in good condition. One thing nice about haveing 2 tracks is if there is a technical diffaculty on one we move to the other as was yesterday. The issue will be fixed for the 10th. This coming weekend we would like to invite those whom havent been there this year and those that havent made the trip on the hill at all. vBulletin® v3.8.7, Copyright ©2000-2013, vBulletin Solutions, Inc.
