bennyboy 09-23-2010, 09:35 AM Hey, that will cost you extra to show up in the Tom Selleck attire.
With this entire smack talk from Tim. Is he going to be racing anything at the Weber Butt Kicking Race? Or does Tim have to get past the Neer girl before jumping into the bigger competition?:wave::tongue:
The only thing I run is my mouth, or in this case fingers...:p Why would I want to race, when I can run my fingers and not have to back it up?.. Also, I have not decided what I want to run. Maybe stock Corr, mod corr, 4 x 4 corr, 2wd, e-scale, truck, 4 x 4 monster truck, 4wd buggy, nitro boat, bike, street class at Painesville Speedway, demo derby, atv, utv 6 x 6, micro, mini, 1/5 scale, 1/8 scale, 1/10 scale, 1/16 scale 1/32 scale, and then again, I may take up flying helicopters? I am weighing all my options and seeing who wants to sponsor me.
My debut is when I sssssssmoke that 7 year old Neer girl, in Mod truck, at Ryan's.
Until then, I will just run my mouth, or I mean my fingers......:)
Saturday at OkHill is the place to be!!!!!!!
Tim
Upper 50's this sat!!! Better bring ur scarf Web.
badassrevo 09-23-2010, 08:26 PM Sounds like it will be a good time.
See if u can grow a full mustache by Sat. It'll help keep ur upper lip from quivering!!

Minit76 09-24-2010, 01:21 PM I'll let Jasmyne know you are calling her out in mod truck
If you noticed Tim didn't state when this will happen. She might be a teenager before this happens.

bennyboy 09-24-2010, 07:34 PM mmmmister Wwwwebbbberrrrrr
Which one, Lou or Steve?
Tim
If it was Lou, then the prefix would be:
MMMMMMS. WWWWWWEBERRRRRRR!!!
Minit76 09-24-2010, 09:16 PM Stoffer you don't have time to be looking at the Oak Hill thread. You should be installing that engine, pipe, servo's and what ever else that might be needed. See you tomorrow buddy. Don't stay up to late for I don't want you falling asleep on the drivers stand.
Stoffer 09-25-2010, 10:37 PM Good fun today getting whooped by Weber..... again.
fastlouie89 09-26-2010, 01:13 AM Hey at least someone beat him in one class, HAHA Slash class was fun for sure
Good fun today getting whooped by Weber..... again.
C'mon, all that and you couldn't beet him? I thought that was what this race was for? Did someone whoop Weber (Steve)?
Teddy Johnson 09-26-2010, 06:30 AM I would like to thank everyone who made it out yesterday to the 1st annual weber whoop-ass race. There was only 1 guy (louie) that beat steve in mod corr. Weber ran mod truck and took last out of 5. The truth is that for the last 5 years he STILL is undefeated in 1/8th scale. OK if brandon wouldnt have ran out of battery at 9 minutes, and chim wouldnt have broke with 3 minutes left in truggy things might have been different. Thanks again to everyone it was fun for sure.
Next weekend is tentatively the last week of racing.
bennyboy 09-26-2010, 09:12 AM Thanks Zerb, Chris and Ted for a great time yesterday. Except for the weather being a little cool, the day went smoothly and quickly. Well, not real smooth for Moisio Racing starting the day by locking the keys in my van along with everything else, when I got out, once we arrived. Spent some time with the local Oakhill car theives trying to get us back into the van. Most ideas thrown around was to break the window with a hammer, must be a "Hill" people, tried and true method. Paul Nam kept handing me a rock. Lesson Learned, You can't get into a new vehicle with a slim jim. Also, the van will not "magicly unlock" after looking at it.
I can't remember how many times I tried the doors to see if I could get in, with the same results.......:hat:
Ended up calling my, lovely and precious wife, who drove an hour to unlock my van. Ben was able to get 10 minutes in with his truggy, before the heats started. Needless to say the driver (Ben) was not real happy with the team owner.
Thanks Rick D for all your help with the truggy.
I guess, after watching Louie Webber work on all his vehicles, because he broke something while practicing, practice is over rated, at times.......:)
Congrats to all the winners and to everyone that showed.....
Thanks Sean for the Webber Whoop Ass stickers, nice touch...
Mod Corr was one heck of a family battle between Louie and Steve, with Louie finally taking the win. Hope to have some video up along with results later.
Brandon Marsh led the E-scale for 9 minutes and 45 seconds, of a 10 minute A main, only to have his battery dump. Steve was able to pull out the win, with Ben second. Brandon had a lap on the field when it dumped. Brandon was wielding Steve Protchko's 1/8 buggy, after Steve was kind enough to lend Brandon the ride.
Truggy was another race with mechanical problems by the leader. Chim broke with approx three mintes left in a 15 minute A main.
Mod truck was another tight race, Brandon tubed the truck, on a tight curve 75 feet from the end of the finish line, and Ben was able to get around him for the win.
Thanks Zerb and Hoover for the stories of you "old farts younger days." The sories of the phone booth and stop sign were good. I had a feeling though you both wanted to tell me what you "hill guys" did with outhouses back then, but were afraid I might post it here on the web for everyone to read...... Not me, your stories would have been kept between just you and me...;)
When you combine Racing, food, and great people it equals another good time on the HILL!!!!!
chim13 09-26-2010, 09:24 AM Had a great time yesterday, great racing and people. Man Brandon had him wooped bad too. I was so disappointed with my truck to lose a hub like that in a great race. I had you steve and man was that a great race, you could have tied a 10 foot string to both of our truggys and we would have not even stretched it our for the whole race, that was the most fun i have had in a single main in many years. We were haulin too, man that was fun:wave::wave:
Minit76 09-26-2010, 10:06 AM Thanks Zerb, Chris, Ted, and Tim for a great time yesterday. Big thanks to Chris for letting me use his stock two-wheel truck against the mod big boys.
Now the best part of the day was looking at Tim’s face when he locked the keys in the van. If I were Ben I would look for a new team for that Team manager seems to be holding or sabotaging him for sure. I wondered how Tim was going to use that extra money I slipped him to make sure Ben didn't beat me. Nice touch making sure Ben didn't get any practice. Sorry Ben.
Yes, Brandon was on fire with the 8th scale electric. There was no way I was going to get him without some type of problems. I just figured the servo, front c hub bolt, or some other mechanical problem would rear its ugly head to bite him. Seeing I really had no time to work on my e-scale it just sucked all day long. Shoot I even had Brandon changing tires for me. Thanks buddy.
The nitro buggy race was very interesting seeing Stoffer in 2nd place for a good five laps. I was trying to talk to him on the drivers stand but with so much concentration from him that didn't happen. He was in the zone of kicking Weber's butt no matter what!!! The best part was just showing my hand in the 1st round with a 14 lap, which held up all day long.
Truggy was an exciting race all day long. 1st Kwang put the TQ. Then I took it away in the 2nd round. But then Chim ran an outstanding 2nd round to one up me. The truggy race was on for the main event with an outstanding drive from Chim. I was pressing him many times to jump things he didn't all day. But he played it cool holding a tight line making it very hard to get around. To bad the wheel hub had to come off in the last five min's or it would have been a fight to the finish.
Now for the corr 4x4 race I just don't want to talk about this. That was all I heard about on the ride home. At least it wasn't truggy which he some much thinks he's going to win some day.:wave:

Minit76 09-29-2010, 10:09 PM Sean was taking pictures for both tracks. He puts them up in a couple of days from what I've seen at Medina. He takes some very nice pictures.
bookie 09-30-2010, 09:16 PM Sorry guys there will not be any racing this Saturday 10/2. With all the water this week and no relief in sight the tracks will not be race ready.:(
I talked to Chris today, and the both of them have decided to close the outdoor season. It was a pretty good season and they hope that everybody comes back next summer, and maybe some new faces come out to race.
They want to thank everybody who has come out to race, watch, or just b/s. Thanks to Kevin for parts support, Tom for track layout and construction, Teddy for getting the equipment, everybody that helped build the tracks or helped out on race day, Tim for getting the ball rolling for the special races(and comic relief at the track and on the forums  ), and anyone else I forgot. A big thank you to Bob and Eriez Speedway for the use of the equipment, to get the tracks built.http://www.eriez-speedway.com/
Carpet oval will be starting end of Oct./ beginning of Nov.. Maybe we'll see some new faces at the the indoor track this year. Keep checking back to find out an official start date and other info. One of the special races on the carpet this winter is the Hooter Chassis Outlaw Tour. The tour will be at Oak Hill on January 15th. Check here for more info about the Hooters tour http://www.hooteroutlawtour.com/index.htm .

I have a bunch of different paint masks for sale.
They range in price from $3-$25 dollars.

Custom masks are also available.
Here is a sample of the masks I have made and used on my own trucks.
Please excuse the plain look of my trucks....I am slowly learning airbrushing and obviously arent any good...Yet!

bennyboy 11-04-2010, 11:54 AM Hey, anyone of you boys running ARCS indoor
Check out ARCS site for a special invite........:)
Tim
pat madden 01-17-2011, 01:07 PM can't wait for the outdoor off road to start. we are putting a team together for another year of racing, me, joe, jevon and john are in so far and 1 or 2 more that i have to wait to announce. we want to put a good resume together and hit some big races this year. oak hill will be our home track of course. we are out of 1/8 buggy and truggy and going to sc trucks 2wd and 4wd this year. all the tracks look awesome at oak hill, can't wait to get back.
OakHillspeedway 02-20-2011, 09:35 PM Just a couple of things for the up comming off-road season.
This year the RTR Slash brushless edition will not be running in the stock class, it will run in the mod class. If there are 3 or more stock brushless Slashes we will run them together in their own class. We will run stock CORR brushed class and a stock CORR brushless class if need be.
Also to keep the CORR classes, CORR classes the ribbed tires will not be allowed in stock or mod CORR. We know that the tires are made for the s/c rims, but to keep the scale appearance of a CORR truck they will not be allowed. We just wanted to let you know before you go out and get them and find out that you can't run them.
bennyboy 02-20-2011, 10:49 PM We aren't going to try and whip that Weber's arse again, are we?
He is 5'6" and 130 lbs of pure butt kikin, r/c whippin, smooth driven, lay it down, kick sand in your face, pure macho gringo.......;)
Only thing I can remember from thay day is the keys locked in the van...that is the scars that man left on me.....
Can't think of anything else to say about him right now.....shall return later....
Tim
snwchris 02-21-2011, 12:44 PM Cant wait for the outdoor season and running up there as well
Chris
bennyboy 02-22-2011, 02:53 PM Really lookin forward to the race where,"The Hill People", bring in that thing with the street lights stuck on the pole. You start it and throw a lever, then lights come on to light the track..... Sure was fascinating how that worked....:)
Janie, I do not really include you in the Hill People category. Now, Hoover that is another story since he grew up there.
Big Chris's Mom is not there either in the group, she does the cookin and the eats are always good on "The Hill"
Another Hill attraction, is the WTF Racing consortium, who pits in the hollow area by the dirt oval track. A wild bunch of chaps, with some fine ladies hangin around. These chaps really can bust, ah well, a nut.... They also can set you up with parts and some advice.
I really think the ring leader is a guy who goes by the name, Kevin, or maybe the guy running for PA Congress, Eric.
Moisio Racing Really looking forward to where it all started for us 4 years ago. Great people, great eats, equals some good times.
If you have not experienced Oak Hill, this is the year.
Tim
