Yeah, that light said Wacker on it. Talking to Zerb and he said "someone is going to wack that" and that's how we decided to give our stuff away.

OakHill would like to show case 1/8 Nitros/e-scales in a up coming race, date to be determined. OakHill was thinking about Saturday September 5th.

Nitros and e scale racers please post or pm Ted Johnson for a date that will work, tentative the 5th of September as of now. It is Labor day weekend so if it is too much a problem, let Oakhill know. Trying to please the majority is the key here.

Winter is fast approaching and outdoor is winding down, remember do not run your nitro's in the house, as it may be habit forming.....................;)

Tim

That would be September 4th if run on a Saturday. I will check to see if my so called buddies that want to kick my butt are going to be available on this date for sure. What classes do I really have to make sure I win (nitro buggy, e buggy, nitro truggy, or mod 4x4 Slash)?

Later,
Steve Weber

Best part about running nitro in the house is watching the kids stagger around the house from the fumes afterward!

Well Ted, you went and started the "Weber Whoop Ass Race", so the way I look at it is everyones chance to come out and take their shot at the "Quad(1/8 nitro buggy,Truggy,E-scale,4x4 corr) Master"..... If the 4th works for him then, that is the date or another of his choice. Also, I say he races for free the classes he wants to defend......:).

Take off Friday the 3rd and go help Chim move....:hat:

In between heats I am going to challenge Steve to a 4x4 ATV quad race on the electric track. He will need to run the quad that is hooked to the water trailer. I think I can take him

Is there a name to this so called "Whacker"?

Yes, its was Victor. Tito and i were standing right next to the "wacker" and here comes Victor full speed down the straight. All 4 wheels looked like flying saucers on his truck and then he hit the "Wacker" head on, which stopped it dead in its tracks.

I thought the truck would look like a pile of legos but all that happened is the battery came unplugged.

Wanted to thank you guys for a good afternoon and evening of racing. That was my first time up there to race. The tracks are great, well groomed. Thanks again Ryan for the pit space and T-shirt. The next time I get a Saturday off, I'll have to come back up.

I want to make this perfectly clear, and I am sincere in this, that the question I am about to ask is no way in reference to Vic.

Are "whacker" and "Hacker" the same? Just spelled differently Could somebody please elaborate?

Tim

"wacker" was the brand of the diesel lights....so we just started calling it the wacker because it kinda had a double meaning

You know, Weber posted and everyone else got quiet (well, except me, easy for me I don't race).

Did Mr.Weber" scare everyone off? or will it be on the 4th?

ARCS has a "wacker". It is called "maple tree", the one on the straightaway.

Look Bennyboy now they are coming out of the woodwork along with looking for rental rides. I can always count on my close friends() to want to kick my butt. Now if only that slow Neer had anything to run!

Scot, if you can't find a rental there are plenty of new 8th scale buggies out since you've been playing with electric!!! lol

bennyboy
08-19-2010, 06:21 PM
At this rate there will never be a date set for the "Weber Whoop Ass"
Craft shows, i got to move, rental rides, slow Neer, guys who used to race nitro, but now electric, it's my time of the month , on and on...................:hat:

Steve, are you more than human?................. You seem but a mere mortal to me....:)

I am sure glad I don't race. I see a major whooping in the near future.

Teddy Johnson
08-19-2010, 08:33 PM
I wonder what ryans up to?:tongue:Im sure he would like to show ya where the real whoopings begin. Who knows this could be a really big thing? maybe we can get some cash up for the guys that beat the king of the hill:rolleyes:? after all the guy thats undefeated is like the king of the hill?

bennyboy
08-19-2010, 08:48 PM
You "gas huffers" best hope, Neer, doesn't strap on a pistole for running nitro.
The guy is fast in electric and faster in nitro, watched him at Motorama 2 years back. And lets not forget Brandon Marsh.

ARCS on the 29th, Oakhill on the ????, could have the biggest nitro races in the area this year.

Went to Ryan's race yesterday (Good to see the support of the tent city over there) had a good time, Scotty and I were hearing a LOT of interest for the weber whoop-ass on the 25th of September in all the classes.
