Matt's a slow-poke, it's really only just over an hour (50 minutes or less from me to the auto auction in Schoolcraft) and about 1:45 to the auction in Moline (south side of GR) which we are doing in the am.

Like Matt said, come on down to race with us - you'll like our track, stand and program. Track opens at 8:00, race at 11:00 every Saturday! The track is behind my dealership (The Car Place) and is very easy to find.

Let us know when you are coming down and bring a few friends too!

1 hour, 36 minutes to Moline this morning and never more than 5 mph over!

Hey CRC, you got it covered. We have power distributed around the place pretty well and I would say a 25' cord will be plenty. Otherwise the usual, e-z up, pit table, chair. It looks like I'll be out early de-watering so we can race! See ya in the am.

For a brief moment the sun came out and we started to de-water..... to no avail.

I'm thinking we need to invent something amphibious that would also jump well for these kind of days. Either that or go ahead with a track in the building. Oh well, we'll see you all wednesday or next weekend.

Well, the contents could be moved to the barn at home. As for the stand, plumbing, power, dirt, tubes etc. that just takes time and money.....

What a beautiful day today! Too bad the RC gods weren't this happy yesterday! Oh well, cookout and surprise b-day party for Carol by the pool were pretty good too. Back to the grind tomorrow at The Car Place. We'll fix the track up for practice Wednesday and get back to practice and racing this week.

Some track repairs were done today (thanks Brandon) and we'll be finishing it up tomorrow and it will be sweet for practice Wednesday!

Come out this weekend and get a practice race in before the all-classes trophy race the following week! We'll be having awesome trophies, lots of door prizes, great concessions and a super day of racing on August 7th. Don't miss it!

Andrew and I (mostly Andrew - thanks) worked on track repairs again this afternoon. I have a few things to finish touching up tomorrow and I think the track will probably be in the best shape of the year on Saturday morning!

Come on out and support your local dirt track, have some fun and enjoy some great competition. Don't forget, this weekend will make great practice for our trophy race next weekend! We'll be racing all classes that show with 6 or more entries (nitro and electric) and also a novice class. With trophies (yes, they will be our custom logo'd plaques - way cool and custom - NOT just another bowling trophy to collect dust and get thrown out), LOTS of door prizes, good on-site concessions and a great day of fun and competition this is a race not to be missed!

my day ends in s.b. maybe I can stop by to give a hand timecard says i am dome at 3:00p but my day starts in S.B. then a trip to m.c. then elkhart and a quick stop by pete russels for some tranny parts then S.B. do not know if I will make it out sat but still hoping for the 7th although my class reunion is also on the 7th starting at 6:00p
