Hey Mike. Thanks for letting me borrow the 1900 motor without it I couldn't of raced. I will get it back to you monday or tuesday. The racing was great on Saturday. Thanks again.

Hey Joe, no problem on the buggy motor and don't make a special trip to bring it back. Until I get a battery, the buggy is just sitting anyway. I was glad to see you come and race with us, it turned out to be a nice day. The forecast is looking great for this week, we'll have the track tuned up and be ready for our July 3rd race!

See Ya Soon!

Have there been many nitro buggy guys racing the past few weekends?

Hey Kenny.

We have had several nitro buggies show up even though there were two bigger races going on two different weekends (King of Kings at Stateline and Nitro Tri-County West at Duke's). When we get a nice weekend (this next Saturday is looking very good) I expect we'll have a nice full heat and it would not surprise me to end up with two. Our track is a little unique because it is fast and works well for both 10th and 8th scales. Come on down and check us out, we're having a great time at Granger Raceway!

See Ya Trackside

Hey Steve, I have the vegas version loaded on my computer in the office. If you come over after work on Wednesday I can help you set it up and give you a quick lesson on how it works and then you can run a few laps to test it out. I have some pinions that we can try rather than you buying a bunch for now too. If you need help with the hotwire before Wednesday just give me a call and I'll try to help. That setup should give us a baseline and there are a bunch of tweaks to do from there depending how the truck is working!

thanks mike...i do have some pinions but nothing lower than a 23.

Hey Beamer ... How is your boy's Blitz coming along?

whats up dennis, his blitz is a full roller now just waiting on electronics.
i let him drive after the race saturday and he did pretty good.
my truck was overheating so we had to shut it down.
it overheating on me in the main and started shutting down.
had a pretty good run going with only a couple of crashes.

That will be cool. Maybe you and your son could take on Mike and Austin in the Clash of the Dad's or something like that.

Actually it works great! All classes can get across and we have had very few conflicts. It actually creates a very interesting dynamic with trucks going both directions and makes for awesome photo op's. I do have some video and lots of pictures to put on our website but have been too busy making the track ready to race and just have not found the time.

Come on out Saturday and check it out in person, it's going to be a great day!

Actually, we have been talking about three-man teams, stock SC, 15 minutes each racer with a mandatory driver AND battery change, each racer runs a 15 minute leg for a 45 minute enduro. The idea would be to have a novice - mid-level and an expert make up a team to try and even them out.

Who has interest in this kind of race?

It's a cool concept! I miss long mains:-) and mains in general lol. Haven't seen an electric endure since velodrome racing in Indy! The balancing would be pretty hard to do IMO. Sounds like it would work better as a spec type event.

Had a great time up there Saturday. Thanks to everyone for making me feel welcome and a special thanks to the Erdelyi's for helping me pit all day. I will be back again when it works for me and hopefully i'll have a few more nitro buddies with me. Track flowed very well for the 1/8th scales. X-over is sweet and works great!!

Track opens at 8:00 am, practice until 10:40, race at 11:00. We aim to be done between 6:00 and 7:00 so everybody can be home at a reasonable time.

We run three and a main with a re-sort for the third qualifier. $15.00 first entry, $5.00 any additional entries. We have plenty of power, just bring extension cord, table and chair. We do have some shady spots to pit so a canopy is not needed but there is plenty of room for them too!

We have room for those with trailers and this is a nice comfortable place to hang out and race.
