Come on Blaze, buddy. Uncle E has put more money into this facility than I would ever want to comment on. Not to mention the hundreds (yes hundreds) of hours of labor and love. He gives us all the Cadillac of RC tracks in the Midwest, and you guys want a BMW instead? Why cant we be happy with what was provided and not always expect more? This was a grand opening not a trophy race. Was there a tremendous amount of hype, hell yes! I cant remember the last race that had this kind of hype around it. But it was not for the race, it was for the facility. People have been waiting for a facility like this for years, now they have it and you can see how excited they are.

As for expensive??? If you ran three classes you paid $30. $10 per class was expensive? If you only ran two classes it was $25. Uncle E would need to charge us $50 per class to make his money back in the next 5 years. As we saw last night there are plenty of racers out there still, and now they have a place to call home.

As for people complaining about the schedule already, we have not been open to see how it pans out even, what is there to complain about already? "IF" it needs to change it will, its that simple. No matter what we do not everyone will be happy with everything. All we can do is provide the best facility in the Midwest and wonder why people still try to find things to complain about.

I guess we did to good of a job of getting the news about Proving Grounds out there. Between the news article on HPI's web site and NeoBuggy and the other sources we have been using (like here) we have exceeded our bandwidth usage for the web site. How cool is that! $100 - $150 for the buggy setup, $1,000 for the 1/8th.....Might want to go with the buggy for now and get the 1/8th later so you can race sooner! :thumbsup:
