Just got off the phone with Steve, Him and I are planning on coming out to help a little after 5.

I'm going to try and fix my cordless drill tomorrow at work, somethings wrong with the chuck, but I'll at least come help out.

Wish I could have been there... Too much things going on right now still, but I will make sure I make a trip to your track next year Duke.

Where can we look at the results?

Last I knew, both sides with a walkway down the middle. Oh something I saw today when I was there......this room has an air line running through it. We could have air at every table if we wanted.

Great, I think we can get enough people out there to get a huge share of the tables done that night.

Very nice to see this kind of excitement out of everyone. Its going to make E a very happy guy to see you all out to support what he is trying to do. And if we get enough people out we can try to break him with all the pizza's he is going to need to purchase!

I'll be back racing soon. Just had to put RC aside a little this summer. Only ran the MORL series and thats about it... Very Busy summer... Between moving and vacations in france and other plans already, I didn't have that much time for RC... But I will take the time this fall and this winter... Hope to see you around soon...

Dont laugh, I am pushing for THREE flat screen monitors in the pits. One for the heat board listing, one to show the current race that is going on so we can see what place everyone is running in and lap times, and the last one to watch the race live as it happens. Once the track is up and running we will take a closer look at that kind of stuff though.

I like the idea of no paper heat board listings....no paper results.....everything live and on the monitors in front of you.

Well it looks like someone ran BFG off they closed there forum and John said he was distancing himself from hobby talk!!! What are we going to do now???
We let it rest is what we do. And no, no one ran BFG off, John has wanted to remove their thread from HobbyTalk for over a year and use the Battle Front web site forum instead. This may be the reason they ended up doing that, but it has been talked about for a long while previous to this.

We at Virus Racing and Proving Grounds wish Battle Front Gaming and RC, John and Jason the best of luck! Many of us have called that track our home over the last couple years. If it was not for that track Virus Racing may not have ever been formed. John and Jason have done a great job keeping the RC hobby alive in this area and we should all be thankful to them for that.

As for John comments on a "peaceful co-existence" between the two tracks, I believe that can and will happen in the time to come. I am not going to go into detail, but things John has done in the past 24 hours are far from promoting a "peaceful co-existence". So when you hear his complaints aimed at us, always keep in mind there is more to the story! With that said, the show must go on.

Tomorrow is the first day that the building that will soon house Proving Grounds will be empty and available to begin the building process in. From the sounds of it we should have 20 - 30 or more people showing up to help us begin building the pit area. Thanks to everyone and the vast amount of support that is being shown. I know that all of you are making Uncle E extremely happy about his decision to spend "more money than we want to talk about" on this track. Thanks everyone!

now this is my opinion and thats all... i can see why bfg is complaining, they had wed night setup for a long time and now proving grounds is moving in and taking that day but yes they could have it on a different day but they want wed also, plus theres alot of guys that dont like running on dirt concrete.. breaks more parts... just my opinion

For 1 complaint made you need to have 10 good ones to make up for it, is a good rule in the automotive world. I see Proving grounds as stepping off on the wrong foot, now I don't know the sit but when I saw the schedule the other day first thing I thought of is thats the BFG night and I haven't even raced there. All you did was split things up and make people pick places to run. Not a smart move if your trying to attract people.
