We are not going to do the April 11th pre-race event. First event will be April 17, the first nitro race. April 24 is still the first race in the electric points series.

the novak havoc speed control and motor is one of the cheapest brushless systems you can get and they work quite well.

11 or 12 minutes then i will keep them and sell two of my softpack 4s 5000

Isnt that an electric shootout? We need basicly all the west side Gassers to make a good showing on the 17th so we show E. and Revo some good #'s and maybe they will put together a longer series for us gassers...

For just being back into the racing scene again I love the layout we have now, It has a good flow for the buggys and also is alot of fun for SC. Nice to have a long straight like that as it makes a great place to setup and make a pass into or out of. I liked the pair of big doubles in the back but I was always tempted and I saw alot of guys get tempted too and it didnt end up good. Nice patch by the way!
Would be cool to have a moto style track with a long rythem section (deep) and some type of large step up right off a corner and backed with a sweeping backside lipped into a double. Placed in the center of the track would give that moto feel. I think the 09 dirt nitro challenge had a sweet step up that was like that.. Could do something like that but on a smaller scale..
Also I remember the OLD dirtburners track that was like a bowl, every corner had a ring and was slanted either off or on camber. Even the straight parts of the track had a bowl effect (deep) and it was cool to ride the rim and it made for very fast lap times...
I'm game for whatever you guys put together. Only thing I didnt like was the step up that was at 9:00 from the drivers, it was like a 50/50 every time for me..

Hey, Lawn Dart is in charge of the redesign of the track this weekend. Zr440 said he had time to come help on Sunday if you needed extra hands Dart. I will leave it up to the two of you to get in touch with each other.

Anyone who comes out to help this weekend, please keep in mind, the person in charge of the track layout...this weekend its Lawn Dart has the final say on anything that deals with the track. If he says a hole goes here, and a mound goes here, thats what we do. Ideas are great, and often things change once work gets underway, but we only need one chief, and thats Dart for this track, thanks.

To me, the formula for a track is pretty simple.
Every track should have:
1. A large jump for people to air it out a bit
2. A section that slows everyone down, this can be a sharp corner, a rhythm section, a table top, a step up, a dragons back, or a combination of all of these
3. A section that allows everyone to open it up, this can be a long straight or a couple shorter straights. But don't get me wrong here, the straight does NOT need to be flat or straight even for that matter. It can be a straight or a corner or even a berm just as long as it allows the racer to carry speed though it. Also this section does NOT have to be flat, it can be up hill, down hill, in and out of a hole, or even have rollers or small jumps in it just as long as it flows and allows everyone to run wide open through it.
4. Last thing I think a track needs is a technical section. A dozen whoops, a corner table top, off camber jumps, step ups, waterfalls, anything like this that tests the drivers skills.

Double that. That is probly the best explanation of how a track should be build. But its always fine to have something different

Liking what I hear!!!! The plan as of right now is to work through the night on saturday to get dug down to where we want and begin layout and shaping. Anyone that would like to come out sunday morning feel free to come anytime. Try to bring a shovel and rake if at all possible. We have some at the track but limited quantities.

If possible----bring your car. I would like to have some people try out things as we go.
