Guys I need some help tonight on the outdoor track. In the SW corner and part of the NW corner where the concrete blocks will be set (only the foot print of the blocks) needs to be leveled so when we place them they will look nice and level.

So if you've got some dirt tools please bring them along so we can hammer it out. Since its all fresh dirt, it shouldn't take more then 15 minutes with a couple guys. We'd like to place the block tomorrow, since dirt will begin arriving at 8AM!!!!

I think you missed the each part.

1/10th scale....it's almost outdoor time so maybe some step pins and such for buggy and truck.

anybody got any good setups for the blitz they would like to share? I can't get there that often to be trying out a bunch of different things. Help would be much appreciated

I hate you all! Everyone is starting to really get fast. I have to work my butt off to stay in the top 5 now days.

The Super Stock Truck A-Main was like a freight train for about half the race before anyone could start to break away from the pack. Still almost half the field finished on the same lap.

I'm happy to say that E and I can still have fun messing with each other too. :wave:

Virus Racing and Proving Grounds are pleased to announce Bragging Rights II on May 01, 2010. Doors open at 8:00AM and racing starts at 10:00AM. We will run two classes of Short Course vehicles, Stock and Open Class, we will run the 4wd SCT and Open 2wd SCT together. All makes and manufacturers Short Course vehicles will be allowed to run. Three six minute qualifiers and six minute mains for each class. Personal transponders are recommended, but house transponders are available. As the title of the race indicates, we want to know what SCT is the best! Kyosho, Traxxas, AE, Losi, HPI, OFNA, who is it going to be who wins the Bragging Rights? In our first Bragging Rights race, it was the ASSOCIATED SC10 that walked away with the Bragging Rights for both Stock and Open classes. Anyone ready to have something to say about that or will AE rule again?

Entry fee for this race will be $28 for the first entry and your second class is FREE. Trophies will be provided for 1st - 3rd place in the A, and B mains. Also, after the Bragging Rights SCT race is complete, we invite you to stick around and run your SCT in the evenings Electric Saturday night program for FREE. A whole day of racing, trophies, and best of all....Bragging Rights!

Rules for the classes are as follows:

SCT Stock: ROAR rules apply. Aftermarket parts are allowed to replace the bulkhead, arms and outer hubs. Radio, receiver, servo and speed control may be changed. Motors in this class are to be the stock SCT motors, 17.5 brushless or 27 turn brushed. Must use a stock size tire designed specifically for SCT's. 1/10th and 1/8th off-road truck tires are not allowed. You must run a 2 cell LiPo pack, 3 and 4 cell packs not allowed.

SCT Open: Open to ALL SCT makes, models and custom built SCT's, no motor restrictions. Must meat SCT specs on body and chassis dimensions and use a SCT chassis.

Good thing you caught that one Joe, I just got the ROAR notification. You left the part out that he can only drive a Duratrax or Radio Shack RC and all batteries need to be from Dollar General.:thumbsup:

Yes, do you know how much the stand weights? I am guessing you will need 4 - 6 inches of cement to support it. Its pretty simple to layout the foundation frame, level it, then you just pour cement and flatten it out. Let me know when and I can try to get a sitter and come out and get it ready for cement.

When you stand at one corner of that track and look all the way to the other corner......it hits you......holy crap this is HUGE! Yes this is going to be a great summer. I know once we start racing on this motha' I wont even want to go any place else to race. Why travel when you have the gran'pappy shindizzle right here in our own back yard. :thumbsup:

Shhhhhhhhh dont say that. We had to convince Uncle E that he did not need to make this track 220 foot by 120 foot. If you go saying that, he is just going to make it as big as he can.

The current size is perfect, not to big, not to small.....and of course plenty of room to expand if Uncle E ever gets that bug in him. Lets hope not, this is plenty big.

anyone have a set of front shocks for a slash 4x4? Need a set until my power stroke shocks come in.

Brayden and I had a BLAST at practice tonight. Brayden ran just about non stop all night long with his Kyosho SC and he loved it...The kid took right off! There was a good group of guys with Nitro buggy's and it was fun to mix it up a little... I went out back to check the outdoor track and I will say it is impressive...Nice drivers stand! Cant wait to run on it!

No way...I think Bman should have to start with a Slash and then earn his way into the Kyosho.

So if he wins with the Slash he gets to use a Blitz, then if he wins with that then he has to finsh top 3 with an SC10, then at the finals he must race and finish in the top 3 in a Losi Strike...

Then he we be able to race the Kyosho..lollolololol lmao

We want to try 5:00PM for Saturday racing. We realize there are many locals that work until 3ish on Saturdays so we dont want to start to early. There are also a number of out of town people who dont want to be driving home at 1:00AM. So to try to find a balance, we are moving Saturdays race start time to 5:00PM. Please make note of it.
