Everyone has to race the same track, so who cares if it's 1/8 scale or 1/10 scale friendly? Just build the friggin track and race it, the good drivers will find the fast way around the track and the rest will fall. Just my 2 cents worth.

That's great! Just wondering why MORL didn't choose PG for the FIRST race, so we could run indoor and not get wet a lietchfield, like almost every year I heard... maybe there will be no rain this year...

ive tried to figure that out myself, seems litchfield is historically the first race, for as long as i have known anyways. need to find someone who has been running in the morl/mars series since its inauguration.

Tradition I guess. All i know is I will not be sitting in the rain at litchfeild this year.:thumbsup:If the forcast calls for rain of any sort that day I will just stay home.I was sick for over a week last year from sitting in the cold and rain for half the day.Rain on a nice warm 80* day is one thing, but rain and 50* is a miserable situation no matter how you cut it.I will just use an addage I hate to use ever and say 'it is what it is'.

And I was nervous about a good outdoor layout? Not sure its 1/10th friendly though. Still might be worth a shot!

So what time does the electric points series race start? Are we allowed to practice gas before it starts? What time does the track open? Just want to make sure what is going on since it is a 2 1/2+ hour drive. We plan on coming as long as there is not a lot of snow.

Uncle E
02-14-2010, 03:03 PM
-6PM electric points race start
-9AM doors open nitro/elec practice, we currently have a mix of about 2 nitro and 6 elec, so I have no problem with you practicing nitro for a couple hours. If needed, we'll pulse the prac elec/nitro.
-2:30pm we water, and begin heating the room. At 3pm the track will be dedicated to elec practice for the evenings program.

This is race #3 of the 4 race series, and only one drop was allowed. So no there is not enough races left for the 4wd to count in the points series. Bring them with you if you want, if there are enough of them we can run a class of them during the evening. Just remind Uncle E and Bob that they are not part of the points series so you should be charged normal rates not points series fees.

Nolan, The Chad, Brent V, Dudda, Swint, Slaughter, Billy Boy, XXX Keith, Beef, Kzoo, and I am sure I am missing some members of this new club. Where the heck have you guys been? Outdoor season is almost here and you guys have been hibernating or something. Crawl out from under your rocks and get to the track guys!

I was out Saturday night. Left early though. You guys sure are rough on each other on the track. Couldn't buy a clean lap the whole night, let alone race for one. But I guess that's how the serious guys roll.

Nice layout, though. Can't wait to see what the next one will be.
