Hey guys, first I wanted to inform you all that we have moved our 3rd Points Series race from February 6th to February 20th. We would like to get a large group of racers to travel to AMS to support the Big Kahuna race. We should discuss who has the big vehicles so we can work out some car pooling to get us all there. I am sure there will be plenty of interest in this event, so lets do our part to represent West Michigan guys! Who is interested in going?

OK, so no one has been on here complaining for a bit so I thought I would stir it up a little!!!!!

My complaint is that Roy caught up to me last night and I dont like the off camber turn in the back. Solution--- tear out the corner and break Roys fingers! JK Had a great time last night.

WOW that's funny!!!!:p:p

Personally, I want this race to be the largest in the nation. I see this as our best opportunity to really do just that. So, continue to chat it up at the track it is a great opportunity for newbies to travel to a new track with all their regular guys.

Big Kahunna was a guy the East siders knew and it's in memory of him. The race has a laid back and smooth feel to it, so I'm sure the event memorializes him in a way he'd appreciate.

Al Horne has continually supported Virus Racing; giving us an FTMS race, showing up at races, and on and on. The support has continued at Proving Grounds with Halloween Havok Race helping make it a huge success.

So lets coordinate rides etc and if anyone needs anything to go or race just let me know. Twitch can we use your trailer, since your a.. will be in my truck?

Is the usally a class of sc trucks on a regular night of racing? If so what classes of sc do they usally run? I am think of getting one and racing but I wuold like to get a idea what to buy. I am getting a 4x4 slash as well but i am going to get a 2 wheeler first. Also for stock class do they allow brushless and lipo? If so what c rating on the lipo?

Always a class of Stock SC every race night.

SC Stock: ROAR rules apply. Aftermarket parts are allowed to replace the bulkhead, arms and outer hubs. Radio, receiver, servo and speed control may be changed. Motors in this class are to be the stock SC motors, 17.5 brushless or 27 turn brushed. Must use a stock size tire designed specifically for SC's. 1/10th and 1/8th off-road truck tires are not allowed. You must run a 2 cell LiPo pack, 3 and 4 cell packs not allowed. Any size LiPo mAh and C rating may be used.

During club racing on Wednesday night I saw someone running the 1/8th scale tires on their stock SC to do some testing. It did NOT give them an advantage over the other SC.

so tomorrow is nitro am and electric pm

On the 1st and 3rd Saturday of each month we will run a Nitro race in the morning starting at 10:00AM.

On the 2nd and 4th (and the occational 5th) Saturday or each month, we will be hosting an Electric race in the morning starting at 10:00AM. This is open to all forms of electric RC racing. We also encourage the young drivers to come out at this time. We will focus on the "how to" of the hobby and work with the young drivers to make them understand the rules, and work with them on learning to drive their RC's in racing conditions.

Every Saturday night starting at 6:00PM is Electric racing open to all electric RC's. Same details as Wednesday nights.

The trophies we will be giving out to the B-Main winners are better than any trophy I have seen handed out in this area for a long while. The A-Main trophies.....well they ROCK! I will post up pictures of them when I pick them up after next weekend in CRCRC. Can I order one of these for myself and take it home?

No, you can run any SC truck tire you wish but they have to be for SC only no 1/8 scale tires, I run bow ties they work very well on my slash.
Some other guys may wish to chime in also because there is a wide range of tires being run.

The Chad

So if your racing in the stock class and you can use any other SC tire out there as long as its a scale sc tire? (NO 1/8th) Then why cant you run cut kit tires?
I could see the no cut tires rule if you had to run kit tires only.
