LOLOLOL!! what if that body is valuable??? you know how mopar does well in 1:1 car auction!!! eh???
Wes
grungerockjeepe 12-29-2009, 02:27 AM Customize it! If it was all THAT valuable, I think you'd be able to ID it by now. Besides, even if it is something of value, Ive seen the quality of your paint jobs. A nicely done custom thats all fresh and shiny should be more desireable than a ratty and beat up original.....maybe.
WesJY 12-29-2009, 03:08 AM Alrighty! the body is going to body shop!
Wes
NTxSlotCars 12-29-2009, 06:33 AM CAST IT!!!! I want one!
Hilltop Raceway 12-29-2009, 01:04 PM I like the way you think Tex!!! Cast it!!! ...RM
ParkRNDL 12-29-2009, 02:17 PM isn't that Road Runner REALLY wide? i have one, but it's in a box somewhere at home... will it fit in a standard HO slot car track lane? might be more of a problem on AFX/Tomy, since their lane spacing isn't even and their lanes are a little closer together...
i have often thought it would look great as a slot car, though...

WesJY 12-29-2009, 04:36 PM ntx and hilltop - the body is huge its almost same size as 1/43 .. i ll try and take picture of it to give you a better idea.. it ll look good as slot car but its huge..
Wes
WesJY 12-29-2009, 05:53 PM here is the picture of plymout gtx ith tyco superbird . yo will see how big it is.
Wes
NTxSlotCars 12-29-2009, 06:33 PM Actually, it looks perfect. Looks likethe ´true´ 64th scale some of the diecasters are coming out with?
Marty 12-30-2009, 10:48 AM If it was in mint or near mint condition I would say leave it alone. It looks like a good candidate for customizing.
I have one around here also, but it is in good shape.
