I'm trying to see if I can break into the 0.3's and 50+ mph with a 2 laminate motor. I will be doing several different winds and experimenting. Quads make a ton of torque and like to break things, 2 lams are a little more forgiving on parts. I'd like to build a more durable, user friendly and competitive Outlaw. Will keep you updated!!

Curious, Are you advancing the timing on the comm any to get the speed? Used to do that way back in the 70's and it worked great for drags, but got too hot for road racing. Roasted a lot of arms with that trick, but should be great for drags.

Yeah Paul, advanced roughly 15deg.. I used to use a miniature protractor, but got so used to the location I stopped using it, now I can't find it!!

Pretty fast. Drag racing is a whole 'nuther world for me that I am not familiar with. Thanks for the vid. Cool timing system with reaction time and MPH.
