Anybody interested in a group buy for C&M 1/8 L8 bodies at a discounted price let me know need at least five people . I have done this twice with C&M I believe it was 48.00 shipped with the 12x12 decking included should be cheaper without the decking . Once we have five I will contact Mike and see what the is best price we can get .

I'm in, I want the old body if there is a choice (I doubt there is LOL). I was going to get a stalker but if I can get a c&m at the same price I would rather have it.

The new body won't be out this year. According to the answer I recieved when I asked about a month ago.

The Reply:

It will be next season before it will DLMRA legal. I will not sell it before it has been approved. We will be doing some testing this season. When we are happy with the look and performance we will post some pictures to get the racers input. As the owner of C&M bodies I must do what is best for the racers, tracks and the DLMRA before I do what is best for C&M. I bought C&M to provide the racers the most realistic and best handling body. Not to make money. Sure I don't want to lose money but what is best for the racers and tracks comes first. This is why my bodies are retail on my site. I want you to buy from your local track and Hobby shops. We must have them before anyone can sell anything to anybody! The DLMRA was created to make 1/8 LM racing a long term growing sport that everyone across the country could be a part of.

Nice. I ran that car last year and almost ran it this year, but sold it as I have too many classes and in this one instance, i exercised some restraint :)

My old car races at dirtrunners still though, so the memory lives on :)

I was thinking of L.G. a couple days ago from all the close battles we had in 1/10 fuel truck oval and also that I ran out of gas in that class as well. My thoughts go out to his family. When ya said Crispy Critters first thing that came to mind as racers go was him.

I used your third front body mount idea. Worked great on the OFNA. Came out right in the center of the aircleaner. Zero flex in the new body.:thumbsup:

I'm glad it worked out for ya and your lucky it came out in the middle of the air cleaner. Did you take a spare ofna body mount and use it? Oh wait knowing you probably took a blank and spun it in a lave. LOL:thumbsup:

Yeah, and with my son wanting a 4x4 slash things are gonna get crazy with keeping track of races, and marshalling ( which I enjoy doing )

Why didn't you change your L8 paint job? Now I gotta get use to the late model up there and not the sprinter.

I really kind of liked the black and red and it's easy to paint. Too much real-estate to be creative without wrapping it. Also, I wanted you to be sure who was chasing you down.:):cool:

Yea I heard a bit earlier tonight - that is a shock - my thoughts and prayers are with his wife and kids :(
