The second Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series broadcast on television over the Mothers Day weekend boast a one hour airing that was filmed on February 4th during the Thursday night edition of the 34th Annual Dart Winternationals from East Bay Raceway Park. The show will air on the Versus Network at 6 PM Eastern/5 PM Central Sunday, May 9th.


I finally got round to watching this race that I recorded from a couple of weeks ago. What an awesome race with EPJ taking the lead from Bloomquist in the 2nd to last lap...If that don't get you hooked on these cars I don't know what will... :thumbsup:

FYI for you all, looks like Trains and Lanes for offroad racing will be reopening with a brand new track on the other side of the building. For those that have been there before it's a great track with a HS right there. Competitive racing. Here is the link to there forum

Page3 has pics of track when it was undercontruction. It seems they have finished the track they are in the midst of getting a drivers stand together from what I can see. Steve and I might take a trek to see for ourselves this weekend as TandL is close to us. And looks like they have lights as well. First thread as class info as well as any other info you might be looking for. I know a couple of us 2 years ago raced there as well. So it's nice to have another option. Tim the old race director isn't running the show.

Just to also let you guys know there might be an indoor track opening up in Cherry Hill, NJ. Will be an Electric only venue. More to come as I get more details. Would be a good place to go during the Winter for dirt offroad. :)

Address for what? The place in Cherry Hill, NJ. Not yet. The guys from the outtacontrol old track told me about it. Cherry Hill is where my mom lives so I know the area and curious were they would put a track there.

If anyone is interested in Trax70 344 foot high banked concrete trioval with pan cars there are 3 big races this year, none of them DR race weekends. Classes are 13.5 1S and a breakout class where you have to run 7 second laps, go below it and u loose a lap. Races are on saturdays and start 11 am (last year). If you need help with you car let me know

Chris - What ESC/motor are you using?

I have three MaxAmp packs 4200ss 2s and they are over 2 years old and still going strong. Only problem is they are on the high side of the price scale. I just got four 4500 SMC packs and used them for the first two races and they seem to be nice packs. Only thing is they take a longer time to balance.

It was in the slash 4x4 with a medusa 50mm / R1 Pro geared for 45...

Was there from 7:30 to 9:00 ran a couple packs through the 4X4 . Was pretty good the sweeper into the double , table was a little wet ( not really wet more like way over watered . Saul was with me he ran about 5 tanks through his truggy . The rythmn section was very challenging . Each of the rollers is now bigger .

No rain up here so far Station 2 is racing!

I have a set of DLM1 that are used that you can use until your tires come in .If the tires on EBAY are the same ones I think they are (I searched for DLM2 there they were from a store I think rc crazy boyz ) you dont want them . :cool:
