On another note. Was working on the sprint car last night and found a top-shaft bearing completely failed. Balls no longer inside.

That might explain some of my handling issues over and above my normal suckiness.:o

I'll make an executive decision and pull the pipes and replace the dirt unless someone days don't.

I'll also pick up some cheap cones , number them, and we can try Marshall stations next race.

I would say go for it Toby, those pipes need to go - you have my blessing, not that that counts for anything :)

As stupid as this may sound.

We could bury 4 pieces of plastic pipe big enough to slide a hose through, under the oval, to the offroad track. This way there are no vision complaints and there is nothing that would have to be drained in the off season. Cap them off when not in use to keep the muck out. I don't imagine digging the trenches would be that big a deal. Start with one and see how it works.

Thats not a stupid idea. Its a better idea. Easy too. 2" pipe should do it. Big enough for a hose to be pushed through. We dont use any big nozzles anymore.

I saw that. Then after looking at his other times of 5 plus seconds / lap slower, I had to discount the 7's. Theres no way.

A guy tired to get the bearings out of his hpi 3.0 engine and snapped the block in two. Impressive to say the least, I'll have to get a pic up when I get home.
