Just spoke with Tractor Supply. They ordered a new roller and will let me know when it comes in.

Hopefully returning the dented one will not be an issue. I guess we will cross that bridge when we get to it.

Thanks Bob. With all that work of cleaning out the Storage area how did it go with getting everything in there now? Does the tractor get in with no issues now?

Sounds like it was another fine day of dirtrunners racing. Sorry I missed it, but between my busted transmitter and the shoulder injury I managed to give myself on saturday, I just couldn't drag myself to the track. See you on the 6th if not sooner!

Thanks Bob. That was a real rush I can tell you. When i was about 3mins in, it felt like I was having a good run and then I heard Wayne announce another 2mins I wondered if those 2mins would ever end. I could feel that motor starting to become a little sluggish towards the end which I imagine was the heat.

Anyways. Like a couple of the gents said, the only way is down from there :o ..and I didn't think I would have the same luck in the main.
Sure enough, I turned too early in turn 3 flipping the car. I kept it running until it was marshaled but then I guess somehow I had damaged the Associated battery box as both of the slots where body clips go through broke off and I think I got maybe another lap or two before I lost the Receiver pack!! :freak:

Luckily for everybody it was at low throttle when that happened as it headed off into the center of the offroad track out of control. Thank god nobody was hurt.

Some great racing on Sunday. JT was unstoppable in SC Mod. And again in 4WD 1/10 Buggy despite having to dodge a Car-smashing Slash 4x4 and a Losi 10T. Nice driving bud and congrats on your win in LM.

Bob. I'm intrigued to find out about those Calibers also, so let us know what you hear.

An awesome day as usual at DirtRunners. Thanks to Wayne, Charlie and the board for bring it all together.
Gonna be a long 3 weeks but sure we'll survive. Going to try and get up to Station2 next Sunday..pending approval from the Trouble and Strife .

How bad is the damage? Did you have a return spring on the linkage. I know I had this happen to me and with the spring it always brought the engine back to idle.

Anyone else think there should be no marshalls standing inside the off road track? The only one thats was ok was when Jason was marshalling right in the middle. He was always crounched down. Man there were a lot of blind spots.

I felt bad there was a kid with Jason that got hit a few times. I wonder what his legs look like today.

I think he was ok. The safety factor should be enough to keep all off road marshalls out side the track. Theres too many chances of taking a hit, let alone an 1/8 scale from the side or back when standing inside the track.

Agree with you Steve. Too many people inside the track. No need for it. Couldn't see on several turns, just crossed my fingers and hoped the car came out the other end. They can all be on the Oval.
Sounds like another Drivers meeting for 6/6

I did the same thing. It was like going on the dark side of the moon and blacking out communication. I was just hoping I was pointed in the right direction.

Yeah. Also, when I got home, I noticed I lost a front spring cup off one of my front shocks on the B44. I don't know if that happened during the race or not. The car definitely handled a little funky but I am sure I would have noticed the front drooping down if it was like that during the main...ah well. Got 3 weeks to collect parts

Just as a comparison, Derek is running a 6000mah 50c and his works. Mine worked all last week with a 5000mah 40c, but I am not sure battery is the issue. It seems once the battery was unplugged and back in it was fine again.

Same thing happened to me during the 1/8th buggy main.
I was on the track ready to roll and when the race started my buggy no worky.

Luckily I had Alvin and Randy run over, unplug the battery, plug it back in and off I went 1 lap behind.
