Mark, do you still have the sheet from the last sprint qualifier? If so, what was my fastest lap?

Your only gonna have to worry about my lap times come Sunday. I hope your timing isn't already advanced. :p

Looks like this guy wants a truggy. And I just met a guy with a truggy who wants to race this Sunday. Considering one myself. Sounds alive and kicking to me..

Tobey, once again you are right.

That's the CW 9055 wing and mount. The new cages have mounting points for the wings. The thing is BIG 4.5 inches wide. I don't know if it will be a help or a hindrance. Saturday testing will tell I hope.

Got some LM testing in before the rain :( New Springs and Clutch Bell. Motor had plenty of power and the car handles pretty decent, just need to work on the driver :)

The Oval is def going to need some work for Sunday. Pretty rutted up. Also, the loop/pipe is showing in front of the drivers stand.

I think we have a small issue with the oval maintenance right now. We can use the iron maiden and the grate to level it out, but we have no roller to roll it. I don't think it has been or can be repaired. The old steel roller needs to be welded back together, so it is also unusable I believe.

Maybe get some slicks for the tractor and just make lots of laps with the slicks on?:lol::lol:

Trains & Lanes, when they used to run, had a super smooth oval. They wrapped their tractors tires with duct tape.

I think we need a 36" metal lawn roller. 3/4 Filled with very dry sand.

Or if anyone has a portable welder, re-weld the old roller.

What happened to the roller? I know it isn't holding water, but is it a hole puncture or a gash/slit type puncture? And is the puncture on the side or the rolling surface? It might be repairable the same way pond liners are done if it is polyethylene or PVC and the puncture is on the side, or with a plastic weld kit, like repairing a kayak.

I have a portable welder. What exactly needs to be welded?

Gary, I believe there is an old roller there made out of what looks like two pieces of large diameter steel pipe. The welds holding the sections together are broken. I don't even know if it would be a viable short term solution.

The other solution that was dicussed last year, was filling the old roller (with the seat) with some sort of aggregate media. But it has many holes in it.

There is a slash/tear in the rolling surface near one of the ends.

I have a 36" roller just like the 48" plastic roller at the house . I'll bring it up Saturday so we can prep the oval . I don't want it used on the offroad track as this is what I think broke the one we have now .
