How can you race without a Jammin SC truck? Man that stinks about the signature. So did you miss the first drop off attempt? Or is it still on its way?

Tomorrow will be the first attempt. I have an appointment for blood work i the morning, and the wife will be home in the afternoon, but tells me she won't just sit in the house waiting for my RC car. I am going to try and leave a note. I have one pissy UPS guy who won't leave anything, and I have another who is cool. I am not sure if it is sent, personal signature required or regular old, signature required. I had a computer monitor delivery that made me want to burn down UPS after all the crap.

Bob,

I have stuff shipped to work a lot too, it just slipped my mind while checking out from nitrohouse because I had never ordered anything large enough to not fit in the mailbox from them. A main send everything with no signature required. I have had many of items left on my porch from amain without issue.

I occationally forget to check the ship to address. It took two attemps on my last Amain order (the Werks mill) that was sig required. I went to Germany and the wife had to be home.

With Amain it depends on the value of the shipment . Have got a lot of stuff from them left on the porch. When I ordered my new L8 they required a signature .

I hear ya. Mine is sorta the opposite....I'm kinda on the bench (as we describe it in the consulting world), and sooner of later my name will rise up to the top of the corporate spreadsheet of people described as an 'expense' and I feel I might get laid off pretty soon, so I'm trying to find a fine balance of milking it, and looking for a new job.

FYI.. I know Jason's shop has 4 sets of goose bumps in for the Slash. I won't be at his store before this Sunday, was just there yesterday picking up all my stuff, but I am sure he would bring it up to the track Sunday if asked. Let me know Bob if you are interested, if so I can let him know.

BTW, transponders are done and paid for, but probably won't be here in time for this Sunday's race (unless they ship really fast).

So what does this mean if I do not have a personal trasponder?

The club supplies transponders. You pick up your assigned transponder during the race before yours. You need a 1/4 in hole in the body and a body clip to mount it.

See anyone on race day and they will be happy to help you out.:cool:

Limited Quantity of Traxxas Slash 4x4 Platinum Edition Kits now in stock!

That's right, A Main Hobbies has acquired a very limited quantity of one of the hottest selling trucks in 2010, the Traxxas Slash 4x4 Platinum Edition Short Course Truck. The "Platinum Edition" Slash includes hard-anodized aluminum Big Bore™ shocks with titanium nitride shafts; blue-anodized aluminum C-hubs, steering blocks, rear hub carriers, and axle nuts; front and rear swaybars in two thicknesses and soft S1-compound BFGoodrich® Mud-Terrain™ T/A® tires. All this in addition to all of the standard Slash 4x4 features including the powerful Velineon Power System and clear body so racers can apply their own signature style. This will probably be the last shipment of these awesome trucks so get yours before there gone!

Got this from A-main today. Surprising.

Here are a few pics of the track. today. Its not all bad. Just think we need to think a little about water flow, i.e. learn from how the water flowed, and make minor adjustments. Then the track can settle/grow a little more organically, like we've discuss here.

We'll need a few wheel barrows of mud here and there but no biggy.
