Bob,

I like your addition to the motor rules which clarifies the modding. Other than that they look identical.

Added a section on diffs.

The official name of the onsat body is Body By Brewster . I like the way Adam worded the 28 RTR section allowing .28 that came with the car until needing replacement . Good job guys :cool:

I have a question? is the mamba pro speed controller still legal to run outdoors. I'm not sure what the answer was last night. I need to buy a brushless esc for my sprinter and DO NOT want to waste $127.00

You can run it, but you have to promise to pull the trigger only 3/4.

I though you had put a piece of fuel tubing on the back of the trigger to limit the travel.:hat:

Thank you. thats what I thought and they are cheaper than the Novak GTB. If I'm running with the Big Dogs in the sprint class I am going to have to run a 6.5 brushless

Actually, the MM Pro is only an advantage in the 21.5/17.5/13.5 classes - the 'boosted' ESCs don't have any impact in the open motor classes.

I just figured out how to flash the Tekin 203 firmware into the stock Traxxas ESC in my Slash - I'm gonna kick Wayne's azz this year... :p

No, no, no Bob - you weren't paying attention yesterday. The fuel line on the trigger is only for the modded 28's and onroad 21s in L8 model. ;)

As far as Losi vs Ofna they are both good .( That whole Ofna Losi banter on the board during race season is just for fun ) Since the Losi shares most of its parts with the 8b and 2.0 you can get most of the parts at Cruizin or Crispy Critters . Any starter box can be converted to work on the Losi but another nice thing about it you can buy a box from Losi that works out of the box without setting up locating pins . You really cant go wrong with either one . You could also make a conversion J.T ran a converted Xray and Gary ran a converted Hot bodies D8 . So name you posion . I like my Losi :cool:

Toby - Now ask Dan which two cars finished 1 and 2 at the Challenge this past year...

Can I be a manufacturer? Suppose I want to run a scratch-built chassis?

Mark - Any chassis is ok as long as it is manufactured. It doesn't make any difference if you manufacture it or some company. However, no chassis that were grown are allowed, and you may not give birth to a chassis. No chassis that were created spontaneously during the Big Bang are legal either. I hope this clears the question up for you.

I would imagine its going to be 1/8th scale buggy. No Electric or Nitro specific classes. That's how it was done when nitro out numbered electric 2 years ago. Electric was put into the mix of things. I was told theres no way in the computer can sort out and score different classes that ran in the same heats.

Agreed, I believe it was decided that they would run together. I'm looking forward to stomping on some nitros with my E1/8th.
Tobamiester, nice meeting you last night. Looking forward to running 1/8th buggy with you and Randy.

Mike - Call Rob Betts out at LIR - he runs - and carries - everything for the electric K cars truck at his shop. I don't know if he is at the Columbus indoor race this week - dont remember if the race is this week or not - but I am sure the store is open. You can also try Mark Westerfield up at Waterbury Raceway - he carries the K car and parts. I have some parts too if you are jammed up - let me know what u need and I can check. Not running myself at the moment. Gary
