You are headed for a whole new set of problems.;)

Thanks, yes I realized this while typing but said ehhhh. Hopefully this new set of problems will be totally worth it to start a career. A "career" never thought I would be saying that.

You will be fine. But you won't believe what comes out of the customers mouths. I should write a book.

Like they have potty mouths? I had a guy a week or two ago come in saying he needed new ball joints in his t-maxx. I had to have him point to the part and I was like those are called pillow balls.

It's probably best at your NEW job that you sell them the ball joints instead of the pillow balls though.

You go to Mr. Bigstuff's? When we were in Cape May a week or so ago I stopped in there and ran a Losi LM on Carpet for about 25 minutes. LOL.

Thinking about it. 18th Scale Oval wasn't very popular there, maybe it will pick up with the arrival of this model of the AE RC18v2 chassis. Will see Dom.

It's located at the airport. We found a flyer at one of the shops by the beach, my phone GPS found it with a search & drove us right there. If your up to it hit the Cape May Winery as well. If you like sweet & tasty wines check out the Victorian Blush its pretty good. We brought home 6 bottles for family & ourselves LOL.

:( seems like an eternity since I was up there...Is Dan's Dew body still blowing around in the wind like a tumbleweed ??

On a positive node its given me time to order a few parts to hopefully reduce the noise from my rc8e coffee-grinder drive-line.

Been working on acquiring bits n pieces for indoor season too...figured I'd have a few packages waiting for me when I got home

Yup, Dew is still there.

Your RC8e doesn't seem any louder than my Tekno 8.

Cool. There is a slight warp in the rear center CVD. I noticed it during the build and tried to get some sympathy from Tekno and Amain but they didn't seem to want to offer alot of help, and of course I needed to have the car ready for the following weekend. Like Dan said, I've probably caused some additional damage elsewhere by running it, and I suspect the center diff could use new bearings as a consequence (I'll prolly just replace the center diff to be sure, as I have a spare one I picked up in a trade anyways). I already replaced the rear diff (after that failed in the main a few races ago) and pinion-drive gears so I hoping they aren't affected.

This is probably old news, but I was browsing August 2010 R/C Car and saw YET ANOTHER TRAXXAS Slash tire is out/coming out
http://rccaraction.com/ME2/dirmod.asp?sid=E29CAE68A6D4457BA0FB171BEC7D56D2&nm=Site+Features&type=news&mod=News&mid=9A02E3B96F2A415ABC72CB5F516B4C10&tier=3&nid=A21046C02FAE4CADBC28B531B1F527E7

Its another S1 compound, so not allowed in our Spec class.

18th latemodel stock out the box was probably the most fun class chris has ever run in that store everyone was fairly even and the class was cheap , WE SHOULD BRING IT BACK !!! im sure we could make up some rules to get the ass's included in the class, oops abbrevation for associated LOL,i know most of us still have them collecting dust on the shelf:thumbsup:

The file size was smaller as well and I think will print better if anyone wants to waste a ream of paper.

Dan,Bob: Are those Losi DLM2 new late model tires a must for the oval or are last years tires capable of keeping up since we are so over powered? Plan on trying to make it up this weekend.

Some perfer the DLM 1 or OFNA tires and some prefer the DLM2 tire.

DLM2 seem to have more forward bite and less side bite. I have used both and find the car looser on DLM2, but more than drivable. Toby has TQed and won (I believe) on DLM2.

I use the ofna tires and I have no problems. Unless I'm the exception to the rule.
