We seem to be having a motor issue with these cars. We run them stock and we don't mess with them at all. We also run stock ESC. I was told to keep it under 165, I've been running about 130 when I was practicing. four min runs. What is the max temp these motors can handle??? Cause at 20bucks a pop most of us are thinking of going small block trucks.

I don't think there's any set temp that a motor can handle. None of them like high heat so the cooler they run, may be more efficient. On the brushless side, most guys try to stay under 160. High heat just takes it out of the magnets and rotor. Heat is the enemy!!! ;)
