This is a Conquest model from the mid 1990's. It is produced from white metal and was made in England by SMTS (Scale Model Technical Services).

Wow, cool. It's looks very much like a small version of a Japanese tin-toy with its exaggerated trim features. Even the interior reminds me of the tin-toys.

You are right here PWSchuh - it does have the look of an old quality tinplate toy! A close-up of the front clip provides further evidence. Truelly exaggerated.

Thanks for viewing.

Neat model. Some unusual proportions but lots of interesting details. I remember those dashboard coves from my dad's '60 bubbletop.

The striking upholstery pattern really sets this one off. Thanks for posting. Did they make many other models?

Wow, I love the coloration and the amount of detail that was put in for a smaller scale car.

A whole range of Conquest and Madison Models was produced in Holland from 1987-2002. In 2005, some were reissued in limited quantities.

One nice old T-Bird: http://www.tbirduk.com/smts-Conquest.asp

Hi BluntFronts

The interior detail and the way the upholstery is portrayed is pretty fine on a model of this age. I like older models and these don't come up for sale that often. Thanks for your comments.
