I may have seen cars like this as a kid, but I don't think I've seen one in person since i got back into slots 10 years ago and started seeing vintage Tjets decorated with those old red kustom graphics. So when I saw this while out and about today, I HAD to pull over and snap a few pics. The kids were a little annoyed about waiting in the car, but tough noodles...

Is that a ' 59 Ford ?

i think '58 or '59... actually I think the '58 had 2 headlights and the '59 had 4, so probably '59... time to hit Google Images...

edit: Google never lies. '57 had 2 headlights, '58 had 4 headlights but the top of the grille was very gently curved or arched, and the whole nose had a look kinda like a '58-'60 Thunderbird. This is a '59, with 4 headlights and the grille flat across the top.

That is a 59' Galaxie for sure.
