Here's the deal........

MSI Raceway in Roseville Mi. has a great facility with a snowbirds size and style track with crc carpet. AWESOME birds test track!!!! Currently they are running onroad and oval on the same days. They are going to attempt an oval only day on Tues NOV 24th. to see how it go's and if attendance is good there is a possibility of having a weekly oval nite.. I know the 24th is a Tuesday and im sure people arent going to want to travel on a tues nite but if your from indiana or ohio trust me the 2 or 3 hr drive would be worth it!! I know myself and Cyrul are planning on doing alot of testing for the birds at this track!!!

As of right now all they have been running is 13.5 1c.. They will run whatever class you guys show up for tho if we can get a decent group of racers. Marc the track owner is really accomadating and an oval racer himself! This track is awesome, i think 13.5 1c runs around 50 laps on a pretty quick run!

Hey guys, even though the test night is a Tuesday, that's not to say we couldn't move it to a Saturday or Friday night for the permanent night...We would love to have the whole midwest oval crowd here weekly....as Frank said, I am an oval racer, grew up running in a parking lot!! Hope to see you all come out!!

They also race oval nastrucks, single cell 17.5. I have seen Slash trucks on the track, and MOD Trucks.

Marc will have to post up some pics when he gets a chance. facility is similar to josh's old track in canton maybe a little larger. track is slightly bigger too.

If you check out our other forum under on road racing, there are videos somewhere between page 120 and 135.....there are a few oval races. Hope you can make it out.

Tuesday just happened to be an open night for us next week. We will be having a driver's meeting with everybody to discuss what night would be best for the oval guys. We would like to do oval early Sunday morning, then road course in the afternoon....But, we would like to have a day and night dedicated to just oval....Monday, Tuesday and Friday nights are all options....Hope to see everyone on Tuesday.

We will start at 7pm on Friday starting next Friday......Sunday will be a 9am start time, doors open at 6am....this will begin a week from this coming Sunday. Monday-----> Oval from noon-5pm, Road Course 5pm-9pm
Tuesday----> Road Course 11am-9pm
Weds-------> Road Course all day (open at 10am), racing starts between 6:30 and 7pm
Thursday---> Road Course noon-4pm, oval 4pm-9pm
Friday------> Oval all day (open at 11am), racing starts at 7pm
Saturday---> Oval all day 10am-9pm
Sunday-----> Oval racing begins at 9am (doors open at 6am), I anticipate oval being done by about 12:30, we will switch to road course immediately after, road course practice will be from the time we switch the track over (probably about 1pm) until 2:30pm when racing starts.

Here is the good and the bad news, starting this week, we will be turning the heat on at 4pm on non-race days (still on all day for race days), if nobody is practicing I obviously won't turn the heat on, if you are coming up, call and we can heat it up for ya (586-552-4425).....that's the good......starting next week race entries will be as follows (this week the race fees don't change)

Road Course Weds 1st class $10, 2nd class $6
Sun 1st class $12, 2nd class $7

Oval Friday 1st class $12, 2nd class $7
Sun 1st class $12, 2nd class $7

A few people have also asked that we begin the 50/50 raffle again, so we will start that on Weds., as well.

Looks like c3 from muddslide is come'n up from ohio!!! 13.5 guys get them rides tuned up!!!!

we'll see if the oval guys from up north show up or if they're scared of a track bigger than 120 runline! :) :) :)

Well, after the turnouts that we saw last week, I'm not so sure separating the road course and oval nights is a great idea. We only had a handful of guys show up on Friday night and only 2 guys showed up on Sunday morning (thank you Tom Z. and Bob Z.). Our road course turnouts also dropped significantly I think do to the guys that want to race both picked one night or the other. We are going to switch back to how it was starting on Weds. Please spread the word to everyone you know as not everyone checks this site. We will be starting racing at 6:30pm (oval and road course), Sunday racing (oval and road course) will begin at noon, doors open at 9am. So this Weds. and next Sunday (the 9th and the 13th) we will be running oval and road course. We might try to do an oval only race once a month or something but for now, we are going back to how it was. I apologize for all of the mass confusion and schedule changing but we have to do what is best for business so we have somewhere to race for many years to come. Please don't hesitate to call or email me with any questions or concerns.
