beekman 11-11-2009, 12:36 PM just to let everyone know. due to the fact of the no availability of the advance speedo and the thunder power 50 c battery and the new novak speedo these will not be allowed at the orl race until readily available to the public.

doubledeuce 11-15-2009, 10:22 PM 1 week to go. This is gong to be an awesome day of racing, short track style, at the Srand!!
mr_meat68 11-16-2009, 10:30 PM bump for race #3
Frank Mertz 11-16-2009, 11:40 PM Ok, I have had people ask about Saturday Practice. If, I can get enough people to commit to coming on Saturday, I will see what I can do and run a Practice race. Maybe $5 per head to race. I need enough people to cover the rent for the day and I am going to need some help with track set up. I will run the show. Keep in mind, the parking meters are enforced until 5 or 6. Can I get a show of hands of people who would definitely show up?
beekman 11-17-2009, 02:22 PM me and autcherlonie and ron will be there.
Bill Auchterlonie 11-17-2009, 09:15 PM Frank, what time roughly do you think you can open the doors if Saturday is a go. I would love to come up early for some practice.Oz, you gonna get a room near the track?
Mike_OBrien 11-17-2009, 09:32 PM Frank, what time roughly do you think you can open the doors if Saturday is a go. I would love to come up early for some practice.Oz, you gonna get a room near the track?

Frank Mertz 11-17-2009, 09:46 PM I will be at the track Saturday to run some practice races. I will need everyone who shows up to pitch in and help me set up the track since I will be short on help.
-Doors open at 2:00 (the building is in use til 1:30)
-Races start at 6:00
-$5 entry fee (as long as we have 12 or more to cover rent)
-Parking meters will be enforced

COrny05 11-21-2009, 10:39 PM Why did the orl rules read body height 4-3/8 last week, and I checked it again today and its at 4-1/4, I know its not much, but I thought I was going crazy. No biggy.
mr_meat68 11-21-2009, 11:31 PM i'm pretty sure the rule has been 4-1/4 for a while. most people have stuck with 4-3/8 so they don't have to mess with it when they go to other tracks.
Frank Mertz 11-22-2009, 08:57 PM Why did the orl rules read body height 4-3/8 last week, and I checked it again today and its at 4-1/4, I know its not much, but I thought I was going crazy. No biggy.
ORL Rules say 4 -1/4. Strand Rules say 4 -3/8. The ORL websites hasn't been changed in a while.
