Max finishes his 2nd model:

I mixed up the colours, and he asked me which ones went where, but he painted the whole thing himself. He spent about 15 minutes doing the base and wouldn't let me help - he wanted to be sure he got all the bits.

The last thing he said to me before we cleaned up: "Now I'm a model maker just like you , daddy."

He loves Spider-Man and I'd told him new kits were coming out of his favourite hero & also the Green Goblin. While expensive, he can zoom around the house with them like I used to do with my Aurora models.

Ah, Yes! Another innocent soul is drawn into the dark si...er, um, I mean another young mind has discovered the joys of model building.

Nice to see in this day and age! All thats missing is the smell of a freshly opened Aurora kit! Does my heart good to see the new generation active in our hobby!:thumbsup:

Nothing better than dad and son working together on model projects!!! I did that with my sons when they were growing up... they had airplanes hanging from the ceiling and cars on their bookcases and dressers! Lots of great memories!! Keep up the good work!!:thumbsup:
