I was just at my local Wal Mart and Target stores. They have Clear and Multicolored LED strands that flash and are battery operated, I got a couple for the upcoming J2 . Only $6.99

I bought a couple dozen of those things (white 18-light LED Xmas strings) over the last couple of years at Target. I still haven't gotten around to using them in a model! :lol:

I just picked up a sylvania battery powered led string, and used them for our 1:1 scale ghost traps. They were perfect, since they were 18 lights, with 4 spaced flashers.

I'm considering one of those for my flying sub.

What brand are these, and where did you locate them? I haven;t seen any pattery powered flashing led strings at all here.
