Do these have a higher failure rate than previous NIMH batteries?
Should they be matched with like types of 4600's, there are red, green, blue cells.

Not sure what you mean by failure rate.That the cells explode or that they go dead quicker if not maintained. No they do not explode more(the last batch of 4200Nimh were the most prone to exploding) but they do go dead quicker than older nimh if you do not keep a charge in them for storeage

Thanks for the response.
I did not want to say explode. But yes that was my reason for the post.
A cell nearly took my head off yesterday and was quite loud.

Never experienced that kind of volatility before.

wow that would of been a nice Youtube vidoe. but that is why i use lipo if i can get away with it.
