Per GLcollector.com, there are approximately 111 different kinds of GL Mustangs. How many do you have? I just got into collecting and I'm a hardcore Mustang fan, so that is all I buy. So far I have 30 GL stangs, and some M2 stangs. I'll post pics when my display is set up. I'm attempting to get all of the GL stangs (I don't collect Greenies)....we'll see.

I wish I had a better answer for you then a lot :lol: but my collection isn't all in one place and I've gotten way behind on my cataloging as I get new ones...

i have 123 diff 1:64 GL stangs. Im only missing the RHW enterprises stang. I have every diff 1:64 GL mustang ever made except one.

i included 2 MCG series 1 variations in my count, the 70's stang verts. There are two of them with diff interiors. the yellow one and the gold one, both have black and white interiors.

Wyatt if you have 112 and are missing 5 BB and the white set that would put you at 123 I also counted the 2 auction block series 10 stangs in my count. I need that RHW stang BAD!!!!!

03silvergt, I uploaded Auction Block 10 and MCG Flames 2 night before last. I must be missing the two interior variations on MCG Series 1. That would make 123.

thank you harristotle. All of these cars are displayed on walls in my "mustang room" i also have most of these opened up also, there are about 45 of the 120 something that i dont have one opened also. I always get 2 of each stang that i can, one to open one to hang on the wall.

These are just the mustangs i have, i also collect the Up In Flames series, Hot pursuit series, and County Roads series. And greenlight trucks oh man i love greenlight diecast. I also collect M2 Mustangs and have everyone they have made except a few low number (less than 60) chase ones.

I have a long way to go as I only have 45 GL Mustangs so far.

LOL ! To be honest, I never thought I'd get one. But a good friend was given one and he passed it on to me. Don't think I will ever get one of the Green Machines, but I can dream about it :) Hope you do get one down the road.

Hey Kevin, Thats the same thing I did when I started out on my mission to get every GL stang. I made a folder and saved pics of the ones I needed and then deleted them once I got that car. Have fun getting them. Its always exciting when you find one you have been looking for for a long time.

After looking at the list and comparing what I have, I have about 100 cars to start looking for.....lol. I thought I was closer than that.

I did however come across two that I have that were not on the list. Maybe they are just a variant? One is a blue boss 429 and the other is a black bandit mach 1. The 429 is not on list and the BB you have has stripes as the on I have doesn't have any.

What do you think? Newer black bandit maybe? The blue 429 is the first greenlight I ever purchased and the one that made me fall in love with their cars.

I have a pic of the BB mach 1 on my list. The blue one is not a Greenlight car. I think its a 100% HW but im not sure, I do know its not a Greenlight car.

The no stripes on the mach 1 must be an error. Its the same one I have pictured just without the stripes.

I have decided to switch my focus to the greenlight and M2 brands. I am going to be selling everything else. Some of these stangs appear to be hard to find....or expensive. I already have some on the way, but not enough to really make a dent. I should branch out to other sites and try to find them, but it gets too time consuming. Plus, I have decided that I want to try to get 2 of each. One to put out on display and one to save for my retirement...lol.

Lucky for me, the green machines don't do a whole lot for me. However, I will be looking for the Mach 1 and Boss's at some point.

I was currnet on GL stangs about 4 years ago. I sold them all to buy HW's (Mistake). About 2 years ago I got the GL bug bad, so I sold all my HW's and started going after the GL Stangs. It was frustrating trying to find some of the first ones that I had once had. I got lucky and found all of them before GL's started getting popular. I wish I had bought more at the time. Good luck Kevin ill keep my eyes open for you.

That looks to be where I am headed myself. Except I will continue to collect the other greenlight and m2 (muscle) cars.

I am working on getting my photobucket set up so I can link to it for the sale. I already posted on for sale thread for some of my Chevelles. I was going to just do the loose stuff first, but I might just get everything on there. I will send you a link to it when its done. I am hoping it won't take forever to load when someone gets there.

Please let me know the condition of the car when you get it. I saw the auction to but the car looks scratched up to me. Congrats on getting the ever elusive RHW stang exsp. the GM

I agree it is scratched and has a hood paint defect. I guess it was a factory reject. I can live with the defects.

OK, I'll throw mine in there as well. I am trying to keep up with every basic "in line" Mustang release. You will find a few promos, etc in the mix as well, but that's just as I find them at a good price. I don't collect chase cars, so that helps keep the collection on somewhat of a budget!

I've just broke the 100 mark (now at 101) and having a great time. My only thought is that there might be just a little many Shelby's in the newer lines! I still hope to see more standard line cars and maybe even a casting on the SN-95 platform (1994 - 98)

Looks awesome!!!! That is a nice collection. They look really good out of the box. Of course, I see a few I don't have yet. The search goes on.....


What do you think you could sell the entire set of mustangs for? And, do you think you would ever see it for sale? Oh, without the green machines. I don't really collect them.
