I'm pleased to announce that Novak will once again sponsor the BRL Finals which will be held at Trackside Hobbies as previously announced.

This marks the 5th consecutive year that Novak has sponsored the Novak Nationals Finals, the original all brushless motor carpet oval race. As a pioneer in brushless motors for RC applications, Novak's support has been instrumental in building our sport.

In addition, Novak will sponsor the 4th annual Novak All Star Shootout to be held during the Novak Nationals Finals weekend. The Shootout will again pay $500 to win and a total purse over $1000. A Main winners from all 4 BRL classes will be automatically locked into the Shootout. The field may be expanded (depending on the number of automatic qualifiers) at the BRL Director's discretion. Details on the format will be announced closer to the Finals weekend, but drivers will compete with cars built to conform to the 13.5 COT rules and will use dyno tested, matched handout motors supplied by Novak for the event.

Finally, I need to announce a date change for the Finals. Due to an unforeseen conflict we've moved the date for the Novak Nationals Finals weekend at Trackside Hobbies to March 12, 13 & 14. We sincerely regret any inconvenience created by the date change.

Updated after Summit. Get those 13.5 cars ready boys, The All-Star shootout is just around the corner.
We're still discussing the exact format and how many racers will be participating.

we should probably revert back to the earlier method of participation where race winners AND class TQ guys qualified. 'Cause like Monti always says...."it's all about TQ".

I'm sure you'd enjoy that DK.

Actually, that would give us 17, not counting what happens in Vinton.
If we were to take the highest in points in each class not already in, it'd expand it to 16, again not counting Vinton.

We'll have to see what happens in Iowa, and then we've got a four hour drive to discuss what will be the most fun and rewarding way to run the All-Star shootout.

The obvious answer to that is backwards (clockwise) LOL.
