I have an old Craftsman 22" snowblower with a Tecumseh 5hp engine.
I got it working but when I tried to engage the auger, I fouled the plug. There is both an Idle and High speed carb adjustment on the engine.
On another site, someone had a similar problem where the engine would stall so another user suggested "When you engage the auger, the load is added to the engine. Turn the carburetor needle valve 1/8 to 1/4 turn counterclockwise to make the engine run a little richer."
I'm just looking for additional anwsers or someone else to confirm. I assume they mean the high-speed needle. Unfortunately, the manual doesn't address this particular issue
Thanks.
