The date has been set for Lightning Fest 2010! It will be held on July 16-17 in Dyersville, IA. Mark your calendars and get ready for a lightning storm of fun!

Cant wait its my weekend off. :) I live 10 mins from there so my room is booked. Cant wait to hear the details for the gravity races. Going to have to stort building.

We will be there with our RV and a few tables outside. Will have over 1,500 open rides for you all to go through. :-) See ya in a few weeks...

I want to let all of you know that are planning to race. Whoever takes the trophy with the fastest JL can mail it or leave it with me to race at our August meeting for the Camaro Challenge. BLUUBUDDAH, the downhill racing will consist of any Johnny Lightning from 1969-2010 trucks,vans,cars,ect. This will be anything from Toppers,Zingers,Spoilers,Black w Flames,Boogie vans, Forever 64, 40th Anniversary, ect. May the Fastest JL win.

Like to thank all of the LF Team (some we didn't even see), for all that they did putting on LF for us!

They all had various duties in hosting the LF Event. This being the 3rd one hosted in Dyersville, they always have shown enthusiastic participation in the LF Event.

Can't thank them all enough and of course Tom "Z" for continuing the LF Event every year.

With all the activities at LF, some will be missed, don't know how many times I passed Russ (roasting in the Sun) before I was able to say hello.

There was one or two that I saw that I know didn't get a chance to say hello to.
Got a chance to meet some and get to know others more!

Like to thank those of you who stopped by Friday night, it was great seeing everyone in the "lively art of conversation".
