After destroying one chariot canopy using standard cement, with fogging on the inside of the canopy, I did some experimenting and learned a few things and got advise from some people. First, I tried the Testors clear parts and window making cement and that wouldnt hold the chariot canopy or windows on other models in place. After using an Acrylic floor polish called Future to clear coat my Flying Sub, I read where someone coated their windows with that and then glued them to avoid fogging. So with my ruined canopy I did some experimenting and here's what I found for gluing clear parts.

Brush or dip clear parts with Future, let excess drip off and dry for at least 24 hours. Use a gentle plastic styrene cement like Testors Non-Toxic Cement (Blue Tube) and with a toothpick put small amounts along where contact will be made. Don't use strong cement like C.A. Connect parts and let sit for 24 hours. I found the glue has to get thru the Future to connect with the plastic and the longer I wait without touching it the stronger the bond. Also, if you can clamp it or in the case of the canopy put some weight on it you'l get much better results. The Future allows only those places in contact to be effected by the glue protecting the rest from the fumes and heat. Hope this helps people.

Actually when you dip clear parts in future they won't fog if you do use CA glue.

The Testors clear parts cement works fine. For large parts that might shift or need some pressure, use something like Tamiya Tape to temporarily fix them into position. When dry, you can take the tape off

If you do get CA glue fog and can get to the inside of the part (that usually happens inside) and apply some Future, it takes the fogging off.

What do you do to the interior glass of the Chariot after it fogs....do you recommend taking the canopy off and applying something to the glass and re-attaching? I currently have this problem and not quite sure what to do - Help?

If you can reach in with a brush, you can swab some future over the fogged area.

BeatlePaul convinced me to pick up some Gator Glue which he swears by. He used it for the glass in his buildup of the LiS Space and there's no fogging whatsoever. He says it's super-strong for putting in windows (or any other part).

I haven't received it yet, but you can find out more here: http://www.gatorsmask.com/gatorglueorder.html
