"Silver Psycho" 1966 Nova for the Psychedelic '60s

The latest in an endless stream of Custom Nascar and Psychedelic Customs!!

First comes the proper prep work to assure a flawless paintjob.
Primered and the Roof is shot Orion Silver.
The Roof is lightly InterCoat Cleared, taped and the body is shot Shimrin White.

Brighly colored multiple layered Decals are created by Airbrushing their shapes in PhotoShop.

Decals are applied,
Taillights are detailed,
3mm and 4mm Center Caps Customize otherwise ordinary factory rims.

ClearCoated with House Of Kolor Urethane Enamel Clear and a dash of Interference Blue Pearl Powder.

All Products Used Are Exclusively House Of Kolor, Of Course!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Decals are printed on Clear InkJet Decal Paper from Papilio.com

Rivet reassembly for that clean permanent professional look.

I have to agree with you.
I like traditional style flames.
Real looking fire that has smooth edges and lots of bright intense color.

Laying down my most recently designed flames is really a kick to see how they radically transform a freshly painted Custom.

I have a plan to print up a bunch and send them out to those of you who wish to start trying Decals on your own Customs.
I surprised some our fellow Customizers here on HT just recently with an envelope of them and we're already starting to see them show up here.
Just let me know.

Well you get them right here at CadillacPat Customs in several different sizes.

I've sold them to many, many of our HT Customizers and on other Boards.
Many of my past threads describe their application and variety of uses, i.e., Moon Caps, Bonneville wheel covers, Headlights, Taillights, Gas Caps, and more.

A simple toothpick and water based glue or clear 2 part epoxy is all there is to it.
