I am technologically inept...to the fullest that anyone who is enept at anything is. How do you add photos to a thread from Photobucket?

Me too.

My missus emails me the Photobucket pic links which I just copy and paste. :o

I'm far from being a techie but this works for me:

1. To the right of "Post Quick Reply", click on "Go Advanced".
2. Above the message box there are two lines of icons in the gray tool bar area. On the bottom row click on the yellow icon that looks like a "postcard" (6th from the right).
3. A pop-up box will open at the top of the screen.
4. Go to your Photobucket page.
5. Position the photo that you want to load toward the top of the screen.
6. Drag your cursor over the picture and a box will drop down beneath the picture.
7. Left click on the box beneath "Direct Link". A yellow message box will open to confirm that you've copied the link information.
8. Return to the pop-up box on the HT page.
9. With your cursor on the highlighted "http" in the drop down box at the top of the page right click and hit "paste". Next hit "OK". The coding for the picture that you want to add to your thread will appear in the message box.
10. Add your typed message above or below the coding text for the picture.
11. Hit "Preview Post" at the bottom of the page to check your text and your photo(s). If all is OK hit "Submit Reply"

This sounds more complicated than it really is. Someone who's been on the boards longer than I may have an easier way, but these steps have worked out OK for me. If you get stuck send me a PM and I'll try to help you through. Good luck...

go to your account, sign in, go to your photos

1. GO to picture desired and 4 link options will appear automatically when you run your cursor over picture.

2. Left Click on the bottom link (IMG), then right click on COPY

3. Go to topic where you want to paste picture and click on "quick reply" then "paste".

4. A bunch of words will appear in this box but picture will appear when you hit post.
