It's in the title of the thread: "Pipe Dream."

I've seen them in packs with a bunch of add on accessories, obviously long gone from mine. So mine is actually incomplete. Still, considering the nice little collection of vintage diecast it came in, I am well pleased and have been for the ten years or so I've had this. The other treasure from that lot was an almost pristine Corgi jrs. Jag XKE, which I still have in my computer room. I missed out on the Olds 442 army staff car though, too rich for my blood in that round...

That's one nice Dream! It was orginally called the "Bazooka" and was scheduled to be part of the Topper's Jet Powered Johnny Lightning series. However, the Jet Powered cars did not sell well, so some of the models never made it into production. This one was renamed "Pipe Dream", packaged with snap-on parts and issued in the Custom Cars line-up instead. The additional parts included a set of stickers, a black nose piece, a chrome wrap-around engine, a black roof/wing in the rear and racing slicks.
