Hey guys...

I was thinning out the herd of go-fast cars since my race box made it to capacity.. and I have been sorting through a zillion little boxes strewn everywhere and found this little gem...

I will be honest that if there is a collector "type" that collects "racecars" it is me. I like the used, tired, and new of course race cars. I have a newer riggen, G3s, T2s, Panthers, Thundercats, Wizzards.. I liek the brass pan cars, fray tjets... you name it, but this car kinda caught me off guard.

It is a relatively unassuming Wizzard Patriot "extreme" I believe since it appears to have polymer tractions... The kick is, that of all the cars I have this one has an etching in the side of the chassis that reads:

"872" and "Mike" (scratched out)
"1st Annual PA500 5/1/04"

and on the other side:

"Mike" (scratched out again) "Andrews"
"Blue"

I am guessing an IROC car of some sort. Cool piece.. Pic is below..

(BTW- I missed a Cheetah the other day and have wanted one forever, since I saw the first one in '93, I was in HS)... If you or someone you know has a Cheetah, Thor, Hammer, or any other Unlimited style car that needs a home let me know. I would love to have one of each for my "collection"). I am always looking for old "racecars" that need a home too. Old brass cars etc...

That's a Wizzard P2E Patriot Extreme.
It has the solid cone body posts and a magnet clip that clips on the outside of the chassis and a non adjustable guide pin directly under the front axle.
It's the P2E because it has polymer traction magnets that are down in the magnet wells.
The ceramic magnet P2 has the magnets up level with the top of the chassis.
It's motor magnets are not the same shape as the P3 and Storm.
The magnets are bigger and flat on the outside instead of having a radius.

A car like that would most likely be used to race in a stock Patriot Extreme class.
Because it still has it's hard narrow center flange rear tires.

Yep. That's a P2E. I've got two just like it, set up the same way. I ran a P2E "Cup" event back when those cars were state of the art.
