There are twelve new ones total. Well actually ten new ones. The '68 Shelby GT500KR fastback (red) and '68 Shelby GT500KR convertible (black) are identical to the ones released by Restoration Hardware. I did not pick up the Cobra Daytona Coupe, so I borrowed the picture from an ePay auction.

Doesn't Craig Jackson of Barrett-Jackson fame own the real '68 EXP500? It was built with an independent rear suspension & was fuel-injected at one time.

Unless he's sold it. The article I read on it in Hemming's Muscle Machines stated that it was in non-running condition, but that was probably 3-4 years ago.

Scott..... thanks for the heads up and updating the list. Looks like a good release except for the pink and aqua colors??? I'm glad I only paid $5 for those Restoration Hardware cars considering they are now showing up as regular releases. The RH boxes are pretty cool though.

I'm not crazy about the pink coloring of the Daytona coupe, but I'd sure like to find one of those blue ones on the list. When was that released? I am also still waiting for the Blue Shelby GT convertible to be released.

Those new 1:64's still haven't shown up at my TRU yet. However, I did see some new 1:24 and 1:18 cars. I always have trouble getting a hold of the 1:64's :(

I don't know if I will see these new 1/64's unless they show up at one of my usual OLD's. I will most likely be snagging a couple of those 1/24's rather soon though :)

If anyone has a Menards store in town, better check there as well. That's where I snagged most of the new one's shown here. :thumbsup: Also Scott, there's an error in your listings with the 2008 GT500 KR. The Black model does have Flat Black stripes. :wave:

The local Toys R Us got in the 1/24 2010 GT500 mustangs and the Cobra's. The mustangs were black/blue stripes, light blue/red stripes, and Red/white stripes. The cobras were yellow and red. Did'nt look too bad and listed at $19.99.

WOW! 2.99??? I wish someone online would carry them at all let alone at that kind of price when you do fine someone.

I'm with Harrisotle, I haven't seen a hint anything other than the larger scale Shelby Collectables will be stocked by TRU here in the TX panhandle

I wish they would put a series # on the cards

example Series 1 this way I can keep track of whats what and wich ones I need, as we all know there are multiples that are the same from release to the next.

I'm glad I can help out. Well we have a few new 1:64 Shelby Collectibles to add to the growing list. I found them at TRU last night. Here they are......

I'm still on the fence about the new cards. What's interesting is that they are using the BLUE card for the "Vintage" Shelby cars and the RED card for the "New" Shelby cars.

The detail on these new cars is SUPERB ! The only thing I would have done different on the '62 Shelby Cobra CSX2000 is to put a little more detail on the engine and take away the rollbar. I don't believe the original has a roll bar.

I'll get the list updated ASAP to reflect these new cars. If anyone has found any other new vehicles in this release that I don't have pictured, please let us know. Thanks.

I forgot to add that some of the cars from the last release were also on the new cards. So I didn't pick them up. If I remember correctly they were the electric green '68 Shelby EXP 500 CSS coupe and the red '68 Shelby GT500KR fastback. Oh and get ready for sticker shock if you find them. The price on these at TRU is $ 5.99 ! :( I didn't realize it until I got home and looked at the receipt.

I agree with you about the OLD's! Nobody carries them, and unless the release contains repeat cars they would always sell out at the OLD's. I started a thread over on team shelby hoping to generate some interest for the team shelby store to actually carry the diecast online, http://www.teamshelby.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=51086

I don't understand why nobody will carry at the very least a limited number of these online with the number of people that seem willing to buy them... :cry:

I was at TRU this weekend & the only 2010 Shelbys left were the unpopular / odd color combo of blue with red stripes .. Obviously that color combo has limited appeal .. I left them behind too ... I also wish they could be found elsewhere . There are a few on epay , but most mark them up too much & charge too much for shipping .. There wasnt many of the other Shelbys either ...

ive seen em at TRU and menards those are the only 2 places I can recall off hand.

Meh.... apparantly I got there too late. hoprfully they will be putting more up.

I saw the new ones at TRU and had all of them in hand, decided to see what they rang up at a price checker. 5.99.......needless to say they went back on the shelf. These cars are nice but IMHO they are 3.99 cars at the most and the details are not what i would expect seeing as Shelby is making these. The 2010 GT500 has chrome wheels and no stripes on the seats. No real 2010 GT500 has a chrome wheel option....yet. I would think these would be spot on detail wise comming from Shelby himself. On a lighter note the 1:64 2010 GT500 I got from greenlight today has stripes on the seats.

As far as OLD carring these, the min order is probably to much stock and each release has at least 3 or 4 carry overs from the previous one that would probably hard to move.

Scott, do you have any word on new cars that we will be seeing from SC in the future? I know it will probably be a while since we've just had these two releases with a lot of new cars. I would love to see a Cobra Concept, GR-1, Sunbeam Tiger, and maybe even a 427 Daytona Cobra.

Unfortunately I don't have any info on future releases. My contact at Shelby has been tough to get ahold of. Plus he's not really able to tell me any info on new castings under developement. Sorry I can't give you any more insight. Take care.
