Manimal517 10-13-2009, 08:25 AM I'm looking forward to the season starting, and will be racing there a few times this year.
megasaxon 10-13-2009, 08:39 PM i'm planning on making it down whenever i can!
OvalmanPA 10-13-2009, 08:55 PM Kevin........location? I want to make sure I'll be going to the right place. :) Going up 97 north, is the building on the left (sits back off the road a bit) just as you round a slight curve up a hill? Right before you get to Oak Hill Motors? Blue 2 stall garage next to a house? Perhaps a sign out front on race day would help or at least numbers (6233) somewhere.
kmberie 10-15-2009, 06:27 PM Rick that's the place, they do have a small sign out front once racing starts, did Ron get in touch with you about your race system? Do you still have your carpet?
RONMCD 10-16-2009, 01:52 PM Rick, The person I talked to about your race system is not interested at this time. So do whatever you need to do with it. Thanks Ron
OvalmanPA 10-16-2009, 08:44 PM Kevin.......good to know there is a sign out front during racing even though now that I know where it is for sure I won't need it. :D Was out and about the other day and took a ride up through there to check out where it is. Gonna be tight on parking and pit space isn't it? Yes I still have the carpet. Right now Matt S. has first dibs but that's only till after this weekend then it's going on Hobbytalk Monday along with the race system.
kmberie 10-18-2009, 07:56 PM Rick contact Lance at Have Fun Hobbies, I heard a month or so ago through the grapevine he was looking to get a new system that would work with personals. Here is their thread:

I think his Hobby Talk handle is DIRT-TRACK
It would be nice to see that system stay in the area!
kmberie 10-18-2009, 07:58 PM Oh and regarding the space, it is very comparable to what your track was, minus the kitchen of course. :)

I dunno for sure but that might have been who Matt S. was talking with about it? It's sold pending payment though and it IS staying in the area. A couple of guys are going to put in a off road track up at Sugargrove and I'll have half the payment Friday or Saturday unless it falls through.
Thanks for the leads on others that might be interested though.
Oh yes........I assume we'll need to bring food with us then or make a little road trip?
Manimal517 10-22-2009, 04:16 AM Any word on a start date and classes ?
kmberie 10-22-2009, 07:24 AM Any word on a start date and classes ?
Will be checking with the owners tonight on the likelihood of racing this weekend, I talked to them earlier this week and it was sort of sounding like another week yet but I will check and post tonight.
Classes are like always, 3 of anything will make a class. It is very likely 13.5 single cell will be popular, EDM following the HCOT rules will be run, crates/spec trucks probably, 18th scale late models/edms will probably be popular. There is also some interest in touring car, we'll see if that goes anywhere.
