Gentlemen (ladies if any are online),

I am wanting to try carpet racing here in Iowa and I was wondering what car is currently the hot ticket for carpet..

I know that BRL rules are followed here, so I am searching for the best car for the surface!

Thank you, Dan

Any of the top cars will work well, KSG Gen 3, HD Pro 4, AE 10R5O, CRC BA 2, Darkside, IRS. As was said to me, its all about setup. Seems to be pick what you like or what is being run locally so you can get good setup advise to start.

Thanks John! All of those are talked about here too in addition to Custom Works cars...

Happy racing, take care!

Leading Edge cars are also excellent. I would visit the track where you might be running and see what the most popular car or maybe top two are. You can get some hints from the drivers who are running well as to what chassis, car, and setup they prefer for the specific class or classes you want to run.

The new customworks car looks good as well. Another month or so?? I might just get one to compare to my BA's.

If you are new to carpet racing a Leading Edge would be your best choice. It's simple and fast. I race both a Leading Edge and a KSG Gen 3 and my LE car is a lot easier to get dialed.
