This past weekend gone, 1/4 scale sprintcar racers from around Australia attended a 2 day meet at Grandview Speedway,Victoria.
This is the line-up of cars on the saturday morning.
28 sprintcars and 12 midgets nominated.
LQSS drivers Ben Nicholl, Rob Hodkinson and Rob Lowe were the placegetters in the Victorian State Title A Main over 25 laps.

ScottH......No man, we don't sit down to race....LOL ....not a bad idea thought. Might try it next time I race there! That building is the lap scoring/ race control room. The chairs are for spectators who wish to sit up there, for a different view of the racing. The drivers stand is directly opposite...below which this photo was taken.

Dale Pike from Bunbury Western Australia, trucked his sprinter to Eastern Australia. A distance of just on 2000 miles. He jumped on a plane with 3 other racers and flew 5 hours to get to the the meet in Whittlesea. When the track on the 2nd day got tacky, this is the way he threw his self constructed STORM sprintcar around. Maybe not the fastest way around..... but hey.... didn't it look sensational.......OH YEAH!
One doesn't get a 1/4 scale sprintcar more crossed-up than this!
