My kids and I went to the track on Saturday to get some information on their program. Though it was a gloomy day we were greated by a very friendly group of individuals. One in particular who I did not get his name, but was driving a Dale Jr. replica was very informative and helpful. I would like to say thank you for taking the time to educate us. We are looking at getting 4 cars and plan on being regulars for the 2010 season.

We hope to be back this weekend to learn some more and find out the basics of getting involved with the club.

That would be Butch Smith. You won't meet a nicer racer; anywhere. Butch always takes the time for anyone. He has shown friends of mine around his trailer, walked them through his race chassis, let them try one of his race cars.

I think I speak for anyone there at MPR, there is always room for more racers.
