Anyone have any problems with a Checkpoint charger only charging to 8.2 volts? I've done all the normal checks, input voltage, power supply output (15.3v), and the charger only will go to 8.2??? I've already tried differant batteries, power supply, etc. I run in a very competive late model class and need everything I can get. Thanks in advance. Ron

Make sure it is in lipo mode?
lipo mode = 4.2v per cell
li-ion mode - 4.1v per cell

For 2S he should be hitting 8.40 at least.
Turn the mah all the way up as far as it will go.

I use the Checkpoint charger also.2S will only go to 8.40 maybe a few 100ths,and 1S
the same 4.20 and a few 100ths.IMO,that teeny bit of voltage shouldn't hurt you....

Thanks for the info guys,
Just to try somthing, I discharged one of my packs with the charger (5,000 40c) down to minimum voltage, then instead of using the program that someone put in it for me, I went to the built in #9 program, and it seems to charge to 8.4. Our class is so close that this could make a differance from the 8.2 that is was doing on the "custom program". Thanks guys, I think we have a winner. Ron
